I stepped off the plane and went inside the airport. Nice and warm here. I grabbed my luggage. Jennifer went her separate way into a taxi.
"Jonathan." I turned around to see Cartoonz.
"Hey, what are you doing here?." I asked.
"I've been texting and calling you for the past hour."
"Sorry, you know, I don't really pay attention to my phone." I said checking my phone.
"Well, I came to pick you up."
"Thanks, how's the house situation?" We started walking to the parking lot.
"I honestly have no idea. There's no number on the papers to call and no ones came forward." We got into his car. "You did pay your house loan and stuff?"
"Yeah, of course I did. It's just got to be a huge mistake. At least no ones offered for the house or anything."
"Actually..." Cartoonz started the car and started driving towards my house.
"What?"
"It's sold."
"WHAT?" I exploded.
"I checked it this morning, the sign had a big sold sign on it."
"Oh my god." How was this possible?
We pulled into my drive way and sure enough there was a sign in my yard. A white for-sale sign with sold written in red ink on top of it. I went up to my front door and flipped threw the papers stapled on it. No number anywhere. It was the standard papers you would see on any house, it even had pictures of empty rooms, but these rooms were from a completely different house.
I unlocked my door and stepped inside. My stuff is all still here. How can someone buy a house and not even look at it in person yet?
"Home. Shit. Home." Cartoonz said behind me.
I sighed. "Not helping." I texted Evan, and then went to my computer setup. I plugged in my laptop and hung my mask up on the wall. I left the rest of my clothes and stuff to be packed later. I turned back to Cartoonz. "What am I supposed to tell the people who come here?"
Cartoonz laughed and closed the door which was still open. "I don't know."
I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. Cartoonz stared at me. "That's it? Your just going to pretend this isn't happening?"
"Yes." I flipped threw the channels. I'm starting to get a fucking headache. "I- I just don't want to think about it for a while."
Cartoonz joined me on the couch. "So how did a couple of days with the 'cute and awesome' Vanoss go?" I knew he was going to ask. I may have said a lot about Evan to Cartoonz.
I felt myself blushing. "Great." I said. "I showed him my face, we had a great time, actually recorded some."
"Anything else, important?"
"Well yeah..."
"Well, What? What kind of bases are talking about?"
I laughed. "What is this high school?"
"Just tell me already."
"We're dating." I said and Cartoonz grinned.
"Really?!?"
"Yeah. I can hardly believe it."
"That's so-
The door bell rung. What the fuck? No one visits me but Cartoonz. I went to the door and opened it.
"Delirious?"
My mouth dropped open. "Jennifer?"
"Jennifer?" Cartoonz asked. Why the fuck is Jennifer here?
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"You're really Delirious?"
"This isn't the time for that! Why are you at my house?" I yelled in frustration.
"I'm moving in. This is the house I bought."
"No, no, no. There's been some mistake. This is my fu- freaking house. I still own this, and I didn't put it open for freaking sale." I said, watching my language.
"Wha-. I've paid the first payment for this." She replied.
"Well I didn't see any money. Who in the world sold you this house?"
Jennifer stood speechless. "I-"
"Don't you have their number or something?" Cartoonz asked.
She nodded and took out her cell phone. "That's it."
I punched the number into my own phone. "We've got a major problem." I said as phone was picked up.
