What If: Meeting The Guardian Of Civilization Pt.4

Since I seemed to have travelled back in time, I didn't bother preparing to go to class since I'm already planning on giving everything up.

Enjoying my school life to the utmost was the priority.

Everything else can be discarded other than that, since I only have about 2 months left in my school life.

I wore some casual clothing, plain white t shirt, tight fitted navy blue jeans, I wore a baseball cap since that fitted with the style I was wearing.

Since Nanashi said all of that, she would come pick me up...

Will she? I'm having doubts about it now.

A knock was heard then and there as I was having my doubts.

Approaching the door I opened it up and saw Nanashi outside.

"Heya Kiyotaka~"

"Goodmorning."

"You looking quite perky today. Got a load off your shoulder?"

"Yeah."

"Good, even a human built to be perfect should have their breaks sometimes."

"So where will we go? You said we'll be meeting with Kiara... The phoenix?"

"Oh you believe me now?"

"After experiencing time travel, the odds of meeting a mythical creature is not far off course."

"Is that so? I'm glad that you're having faith now."

"But I do want to ask something"

"What is it Kiyotaka?"

"This might sound rude... But are you a human?"

She looked at me, stared at me with silence, and she smiled a bit sadly.

"I don't know actually.".

She said as her figure became a bit smaller due to excluding something more of a helpless plea for help.

"You don't have to answer then."

"Thanks for that. Then shall we go?"

Exiting the room, I locked the doors, shut down my phone, everything that can contact me.

Riding the elevator with students who had uniforms on, was surprised when they saw me having a conversation with Nanashi, might be also because of my outfit since I wasn't wearing a uniform.

"Ayanokouji-kun?"

"Ah... Yume?"

"Yes, why aren't you wearing your uniform? Do you have club?"

"Not really?"

"Then why aren't you wearing it? You'll be late you know?"

"That's fine. I'm skipping anyway."

I said nochalantly as Nanashi and I got off the elevator and head of straight towards the Mall.

"So where is this Kiara-senpai?" I asked.

"Find a store named KFP."

KFP? Don't you mean KFC?

"Is that the store's name?"

"Yep?"

"Why are you answering like you aren't sure?"
