Are you familiar with the term 'chaos'? If so, then what I'm seeing right now can be considered chaos.

The reason why, was because the inventor of the nerve gear named Kayaba Akihiko, decided to trap every single player into the game and make them play it till someone reach the 100th floor.

What was his reason for doing this? For amusement? Is he playing god?

So many questions, but with no one to answer, as his figure of a red cloaked giant entity just left the stadium.

I dragged Haruka and the group with me leading them to a the exit of the city.

If this a death game, then all I have to do, Is conquer death.

Thinking of everything that led to this situation as I dragged everyone with me.

It all started when the chairman introduced the nerve gear, announcing that there would be a special exam regarding it. It was actually a fascinating invention as I was also amazed at the concept. Although it does seem so perfect in the eyes of others, it led to this, we being forced into a death game. All of the students were then equipped with a nerve gear as all the students played and logged in to their devices to start the exam.

I named myself Ayaka, a mix from my surname and given name, it may sound girly but the group and I decided to just mix our names. It came from my surname "Ayanokouji" and took the "Aya" and from my given name which is "Kiyotaka" I took "Ka", it was simplistic yes, but I came to like the name.

As I dragged them all of into the fields I set down our battle plans.

I ran them down into the whole situation where the first players to hunt will have an advantage as in this world, explained by Kayaba, will have limited resources, luckily for us I was the first to notice this.

"Don't worry, I won't let any single one of you die." I said to the group as they all showed me some smiles, as their faces were paling minutes ago. It's some change.

"Don't worry Kiyopon, we'll all survive this. Right guys?" Haruka said as she looked towards the others.

"Oi oi, Haruka, I meant Haseka-san, are you supposed to use Ayaka's nickname in real life?" Akito said, or in this case Miyato.

"Iyo~ iyo~." Haseka said.

"So shall we go hunt some monsters then?" Keira asked, which was my friend called Keisei

"Yes we should." A mutter came from Airi, her player name was Aira.

Starting up our hunt, as we were instructed just like the tutorial, I can only hunt more and more as we levelled up, thinking that everything will be fine that can go our way. But life doesn't allow that.
