MARINETTE
Some part of me felt bad for Kagami.

Her mother was so strict she wasn't even allowed people over.

She follows her moms every order with no complaints and doesn't dare question her.

Maybe I did feel bad for her, but at the same time it made everything make sense.

Her attitude, her behaviour and her competitiveness. It made it all the more fun.

"Okay, if you write the first part, I'll write the second," Kagami suggests, writing on her laptop.

"No, I want to do the first part," I refuse.

Kagami gives me a look of extreme annoyance.
"Oh my god, fine whatever. Whining like a child," she mutters.

Hesitate to say anything, I watch her concentrate and type on her crimson red lamptop.

She's kind of cute.

Oh my god, did I just think that? What the hell? No. What is wrong with you.

I cringe from my thoughts and immediately start writing to distract myself.

Within a few hours, Kagami and I silently write out parts and I receive a call from my parents to come home.

"I gotta go. I can see myself out," I tell her, grabbing my things and strutting towards the door.

"Actually, no you won't. You'll have to use the window. My mother cannot hear you," she says, opening the window and moving something from under it.

"The ladder is stable," she points.

I pout and scoff. "Are you kidding? We are working at my house next time,"

She just rolls her eyes and watches me exit the window.

"Later loser," I wave, jumping off the last step of the ladder.

Exiting from the gate, I walk down the street, and begin my walk.

Why would I ever think that about Kagami?
She's my nemesis?

-:-

Over the last couple days, we decided that we would work in the library. She, of course, wasn't open to that as her mom was extremely strict. And I don't want a low grade. So I made her lie to her mom.

Kagami told her mom that there was fencing practice being held in the gym at the school for the next week instead of their normal place.

Her mom believed it.

We then presented it and got an A+ all because of me.

And perhaps I kind of missed spending time together ONLY because it was fun annoying her and making her angry. That's the only reason.

Or perhaps it made us closer, as enemies.
