KAGAMI
I couldn't stay mad at her. I wanted her to break up with him, but why? Was it because I truly felt bad for doing this to Adrien, or because I wanted her all to myself?I knew my mother would have noticed if I wasn't home, but to me, Marinette was worth it. But I honestly didn't expect her to let me sleep in, let alone even stay the night.
The knocking on the door came almost immediately. The noise made us both jump.
Hopping out of bed, I throw on the first piece of clothing I can find and practically throw Marinette's door open.
Sabine slowly shuffles her way to the door, but I jump in front of her just a moment before.
I take a deep breath, and slowly creak it open.
There stands my mother and her assistant.
"Hello, mother," I mumble.
"Kagami, why did you not return home last night?" my mother yells, hurting my ears.
"Mother, I'm sorry I forg-"
"No excuses. I told you you had one more chance. You are no longer attending that school and you will no longer see this girl," she orders.
Tears collect in my eyes and I fold my arms.
"Hello Mrs. Tsurugi, I'm Sabine, Marinette's mother. Marinette and Kagami weren't doing anything wrong, and I don't think Its ri-"
My mother turns around angrily and takes a threatening step toward Sabine. "Don't tell me how to parent my daughter," she snarls.
I turn back as tears slide down my cheeks.
Sabine and Marinette give me a sad smile, and Marinette walks towards me. "I'm really sorry Kagami, I just thought it would be fun to go to school together," she whispers, barely looking into my eyes.
I stare at her, building up anger.
"You've been to my house. You knew my mother would have done this. How could you?" I yell.
I run out of their home, stopping behind my mother.
"This is your fault, Kagami. I was wrong to allow you to attend school."
Her assistant leads us into the vehicle and shuts the doors after she gets in.
We all sit in silence as I cry as quietly as possible.

I was pulled out of school due to what happened. I was still so upset. I knew Marinette had done it out of love, but I still felt angry. My mother finally let me go to school and she ruined it for me.
She called and texted me, but I couldn't talk to her. Deep down, I felt guilty, but maybe I just wanted to be upset.
Letting her cheat on Adrien was so shameful. Perhaps I was forcing myself to be angry.
Maybe she'll forget about me and finally be with Adrien like she's supposed to be.
It took a couple days to regain my mother's trust enough to leave the house. Well, they're just walks, but it's better than nothing, right?
I usually finish my school work around 10 AM, as I'm used to being awake so early.
I already recieved my mother's permission to go for a short walk, using the excuse "I need an academic break". It works.
Most of the time, I go sit in the treehouse Marinette showed me. A little part of me always hoped she would magically show up, but not today.
It's extremely dangerous for myself, but I was going to 'accidentally' walk past Marinette's house, praying she came home for lunch.
Yeah, it's creepy, but I miss her. I can still be mad and miss her. I think.
Lunch ended at 11:45, leaving me the perfect window to see her go home for lunch, and then go back to school.
This might be mistaken for creepiness, but it's out of pure curiosity to how she's doing.
I paced through the forest, checking my cellphone.
11:21.
I paced faster. I can see her balcony and all the blurry little decorations.
I hide behind a tree as voices echo down the street. Two familiar voices talk loudly with every step they take.
"Talk to her, Marinette. I understand where she's coming from, but at least get her to apologize," Alya says with a soft smile.
"She hates me. I can't just talk to her," Marinette rubs her arm with her head low.
My heart cracks but just before I take a step, a hand holds my shoulder. "I heard about what you did," a deep voice threatens.
I immediately recognize the voice.
Adrien.
