I walked up the stairs and down the long hallway to Cameron's apartment. I held the paper tightly in my hands.
I had just gotten an email from my editor about how great my story was I had just broke for the Auburn Journal. I reached his room and knocked. Nash opened it he looked at me confused "you know you could have just come in right" he laughed.
"Yeah but I didn't want to be rude. Is cameron here" I asked.
"Yeah he's in his bedroom" he said running his hand through his hair. I walked past the Jacks and my bestfriend Kennedy, who was dating Johnson. I ran up the stairs to Cameron's door. I knocked on it. I heard him walking and open the door.
"Y/n, hey baby why are you here" he asked smiling.
"I did it. I broke my first big story" I smiled.
"Oh my god. Congratulations babygirl. I knew you could do it" he smiled hugging me tightly. We walked into his room. A little puppy ran over and jumped on my lap.
I gasped. "Who's this little cutie" I asked playing with the baby pit bull.
"Ace" Cameron said. He got up from his chair and sat next to me on his bed.
I looked up at him "is it your new puppy" I asked. He looked into my eyes.
"Probably not." He said. I frowned.
"why he's so cute" I laughed.
He smiled at how much love I had for the dog I've seen for 5 seconds. "I don't know. I mean I love him and he's a cutie but" he paused.
"But what" I asked.
"But I wanted to see how he got along with you and everyone else" he said.
"And" I said. He looked at me, obviously confused. I sighed "and how does he get along with everyone cameron" I laughed.
"Oh. Great. You were last one. I mean you guys don't seem to get along very well so I'm gonna have to take him back" he sighed. The puppy and I both looked at him. I got up with the puppy in my arms. "Then I'll take him home" I laughed. I walked downstairs slowly. Cameron walked behind me. I got to the door and walked down the hallway. He walked up behind me and picked me up in his arms. I kissed him.
"I'm not taking it back dummy. I'm gonna keep it" he laughed.
"Good boy" I laughed. The puppy licked his face and started barking.
We walked back into the apartment. He set me on the ground. I set the puppy on the ground. He ran over to Nash and started licking his feet.
"Ew. He licked my face" I said. Cameron laughed me and pulled me into his chest and kissed my head.
"My feet are very clean. Cleaned them in the ocean yesterday y/n" nash said.
"That's even worse. You cleaned your feet in fish pee" I laughed.
"Gotta do it some how right" he said. He jumped on the counter. I shook my head before laughing. Ace ran over to Cameron, he picked up the puppy and set it on my head. He leaned against Cameron's chest.
"I can feel him breathing" I laughed.
"Yeah babe. He has to do it some how" cameron said. I took the dog off my head and held him in my arms and turned to cameron and looked at him.
He started laughing at me. "It's not funny" I said. I sat in a chair. He walked over to me. I looked away trying not to laugh.
He tried to kiss me but I leaned backward. I felt the chair tip as cameron caught it.
"I almost died" I laughed.
"You could have killed my dog" he said. Everyone was laughing at us.
"Whatever" I leaned up and kissed him.
