Her cousin Nadia was certainly a sight to behold. Never in Honey's life had she seen her cousin look like this. It wasn't her slim frame being concealed in a black hoodie and sweatpants that had Honey gaping at her. It was her unrecognizable and battered face. Nadia's right cheek was visibly swollen and the scarred skin around her eyes were covered in dark purplish bruise. Even her lower lip was split down the middle with a trail of crimson blood spilling at the corner of her mouth. Honey stared in utter shock at Nadia. Honey slapped a hand to her forehead as she struggled to form words. "Nadia..do you know how dangerous it is for you to be out in the open with Spencer on the lookout for you?!" Honey nearly screamed, her arms flailing around wildly.

Nadia leaned her shoulder against the wall with a shuddering breath, her body slumped. Her features contorted in pain as she hunched over slightly. "Don't you think I know that?" She panted, her skin glistened from a sheen of sweat. Wait..does that mean Spencer didn't do this to her? If Spencer isn't responsible for this then who is?

Honey took notice of the way Nadia wobbled and grimaced with every breath she took. She must have more injuries that aren't visible. Honey eyed her with slight concern, "Are you okay?" Honey knew it was a stupid question to ask, but she couldn't even think straight. Firstly, she was absolutely terrified. Spencer had literally came by her room with an open threat a couple of weeks ago looking for Nadia. Here she is, injured and beaten by some unknown assailant with no one knowing of her whereabouts. What if she trailed someone here? Did she even try to contact the police? What happened to her? Why didn't she seek medical attention? Why would she come to me? Why not her mother or friends? Honey was getting real tired of people she didn't even associate herself with showing up on her doorstep, scaring the living daylights out of her.

Honey shook her head and retrieved her fallen swipe key from the floor. She unlocked the door to her dorm and pushed it wide open with a creak. "Forget about my question. Just come inside and follow me." Honey called over her shoulder as she entered the noiseless room, only a single night light shone in the darkness. She had enough light to see where she was going. She peered over to her best friend's sleeping form in her bed, her deep breathing was the only sound that could be heard in the room. I can't risk waking her up when she doesn't even know what's going on and it's a school night at that. Honey wanted to keep her best friend far from anything remotely related Spencer or Nadia after the way she acted earlier this year. She didn't need her best friend putting herself in danger because of her impulsive actions.

Honey tip toed over to the bathroom with Nadia staggering behind her. The bathroom was located across the room near Honey's side so she was sure that Cyn wouldn't hear them if they kept their voices down. Honey ran her hands across the wall to find the light switch in the bathroom. She flickered the overhead florescent lights on and once Nadia was all the way in the bathroom. She shuffled through the creme colored cupboards for the first aid kit, her eyes scanning over the various bottles of shampoo and conditioner. "How bad are your injuries?" Honey questioned as her hand latched onto the first aid kit in the far back. She laid out the adhesive bandages, gauze, and antiseptic wipes on the granite counters.
