Honey spent the entire afternoon preparing for homecoming. She went to a hair, nail and make up appointment to get herself together. Honey knew she was going all out, but she wanted to feel and look beautiful. Honey didn't want to be the one in charge of her appearance, because it left too much room for mistakes that she couldn't afford. Honey was not an expert by any means when it came to the realm of make up, hair and nails. Honey had such a breathtaking dress and it was only right to make sure everything was on point with her look.

This homecoming dance was an extension of her efforts of attempting to break out her shell. In high school, she never attended any of the homecoming dances or participated in the spirit week. Honey was never interested in school events until now. How could Honey claim to not like something she's never done before? Plus, she didn't want look back on her college experience and be unsatisfied with the results.

Pushing her thoughts to the side, Honey stared at her reflection in pure astonishment. Honey knew she was a pretty girl on a day to day basis. However, as she gawked at herself in the mirror. She didn't even recognize the person staring back at her. She looked like a completely different girl. Her soft brown hair was crinkled to absolute perfection, cascading down her shoulders without single strand out of place. Her dewy skin was adorned in minimal rose gold accessories that complimented her one shoulder floor length slit gown.

Her wide hazel eyes were brimmed with eyeliner, the lids of her eyes were dusted in rose gold glittery eyeshadow with simple false lashes. The matte foundation made her skin appear to be smooth, unblemished and even toned. The bold satin lipstick emphasized her plump lips and completed her look entirely.

Her make up was so flawless she didn't even want to put her mask on just yet in fear of messing it up. She skimmed her hands that were decorated in gleaming acrylics nails over her dress nervously. Honey had been in the bathroom for a while to change into her dress and to overall compose herself. Her friends arrived in the room a little while ago and hadn't seen what she looked like.

She finished mentally preparing herself for the attention she knew she was going to get dressed like this and and exited the bathroom with her head held high. Her heels clicked noisily against the floorboards as she stepped into room where Cyn and Angel were located, putting finishing touches on their looks.

"It's about damn time...oh shit! Phew, you look finer than a bitch. Why the hell did I think it was a good idea to not have you as my date?" Cyn exclaimed dramatically, slapping a hand over her mouth as she examined Honey, her eyes doubled in size.

Honey strutted playfully to the center of the room, sashaying her hips from side to side as she flipped her hair over her shoulder. "Not to rub it in your face, but it's your loss boo. No, seriously thank you babe! You look absolutely amazing. Your date is going to be all over you because if it were me? I would be."
