Honey gazed at the crescent moon obscured by layers of wispy clouds in the darkened sky, a slightly cool breeze ruffled the loose strands of her hair and caused goosebumps to erupt over her skin. The infrastructure of Case's apartment complex created ominous shadows that spilled onto the concrete stairs where she sat on. Her eyes danced over the graffiti that vandalized the fragmented walls of the buildings nestled closely next to each other.

She decided to get some fresh air after changing into a spare outfit of Angel's. She wanted a minute to herself to clear her mind after what occurred in the kitchen. Honey was starting to see that she couldn't keep up her facade while she was intoxicated. It was as if the alcohol amplified her true emotions to the point where she was more careless than careful. It was proven earlier by what DJ said to her. If DJ was beginning to pick up on Honey's odd behavior then she was doing a poor job of keeping things hidden.

Honey wished that she could find anyone else so she could rid herself of this vacancy of intimacy. However, is that what she really wanted? Honey had a couple of options, but none of them were her. They will never be her and she was just going to have to get over it. Honey will forever be miserable if she sat by idly while she watched the one she wanted be happy with someone else. Even though, she had no intentions of pursing a romantic relationship just yet. That didn't mean she couldn't enjoy someone's company outside of her friends. Someone like who? Noir? What harm could it do? Noir was a cute girl and seemed friendly enough. Although, some of it stemmed from her obvious interest in Honey. It was something she could learn to be unaffected by unless she was somehow able to reciprocate Noir's feelings. Plus, Honey would much rather have the company of a woman rather than a man any day. If she's best friends with Xena she's probably not that bad. I have to stop being indecisive and actually go through with this. Or else I'll continue to be in this same cycle. I have to make a move.

As if someone hear her thoughts from above. She heard the familiar voice of Xena calling out to her from the front door of Case's apartment. "Honey? You've been out here quite a while. Are you ok?"

Honey caught a glimpse of Xena over her shoulder, rubbing her exposed arms to contain her shivers. The warm summer heat was slowly fading into the brisk fall temperatures. "Yes, I'm ok. Can I ask you for a favor?"

Xena stepped further outside into the night, closing the creaky door behind her. Her frame was bundled in DJ's suit jacket and her wavy hair was piled on top of her head into messy high ponytail. Even then, Xena was an effortless beauty without even trying. She seated herself next to Honey on the stairs, a questioning look swirled in her iridescent eyes. "What's going on?"

Honey hesitated, keeping her eyes on the loose thread hanging on the edge of Angel's jean shorts. "I was wondering if you could text me Noir's phone number? She told me that I could get it from you." She kept her voice pleasant, fighting back the twinge of guilt she felt as she remembered her thoughts and actions earlier that night. Would Xena continue to be friends with her if she knew the way Honey felt about her girlfriend? Xena was a total sweetheart, but even that would be too much for her.
