Y/N POV

Thoughts ran through my head as I lay in my hammock. I turned my head to see Teresa sound asleep.

I rolled over and stood up. I felt the need to talk to Newt. I slipped on my shoes, and walked out into the night. I saw a light coming from the councill room. I quietly walked over their.

Oh shit. I forgot the keepers were having their meeting tonight. I tip-toed to the door and pressed my ear on it, listening to their conversation.

"I am so confused about that new girl.." Gally said.

"She is geourgeous." Thomas said.

"She is quite beauiful." A british accent said.

'NEWT!?' I mentally screamed.

"-but not as beautiful as my lovely Y/N."

Thank god.

I heard someone scoff and automatically knew it was Gally.

They all started laughing.

"Oh shut up shuck faces. I'm gonna go to bed. Night." Newt said.

Ah he was gonna come outside. I'M OUTSIDE. I frantically looked around, freaking out. He will know I was eves dropping.

"Y/N?" Newt asked. I turned around and saw the blond headed boy with confusion written all over his face.

"Uhhhhh Hey ..." I put an awkward smile on my face and casually started leaning my elbow on the side of the councill room.

That position didn't last long. I was leaning to far, and ended up falling in the mud.

Newt doubled over in laughter.

"You bloody idiot. Come on lets get you cleaned up." Newt walked over to me, and picked me up bridal style. He headed towards the showers.

Once we were there, he placed me on the ground. Newt grabbed a cloth and put some water on it. He kneeled down on one knee in front of me.

"Even with mud all over your face you're still the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." He said and started wiping the mud off.

I smiled a small smile. He always made my heart pump. He smiled, and continued wiping everything off. I stared at his face, taking in all his futures. The way his hair sculpted his face, how his brown eyes would crinkle when he laughed, how his perfect white teeth would show with every smile. He was perfect. I've never been so in love. I don't even remember experiencing love with someone other than Newt.

"What?" He scrunched his nose cutely when he noticed me staring at him.

I placed my hand on his cheek, and leaned in kissing his nose.

"Newt you're so perfect, I just love you so much. So much it hurts. You're so handsom. I dont know what I would do without you."

He smiled, as did I.

"Your smile can kill Y/N." He placed down the cloth, and wrapped his arms around me.

"I love you." He said.

"I know." I whispered.
