Y/N POV

I fell face first onto the hard floor. My eyes spun, and as I was about to get up, gasps were heard across the place.
I turned around and looked up. I now myself gasped.

It was Hunter.

"H-hunter!?" Panic errupted all inside of me. Not this bitch again.

She smiled that little fake smile that ive always wanted to slap right off her face.

"Hello Y/N." She started walking around me in slow circles. Everyone was now in shock, other than Teresa since she never met Hunter.

"How- are you even alive?" I stated out of breath and rubbed my head. She just had to hit me.

"Well.. after YOU got me banished-" She glared at me; "I ended up walking around and then saw some kind of slimy green thing. It took me here and the people at Wicked told me everything that was happening. Before they were going to send me back into the maze, something happened and they sent that idiot back." She pointed to Teresa. "Then all these people came in and killed everyone from Wicked. I was left here and when I saw you guys I guess I had to hit you for what you did to me."

I scoffed. "Ok Hunter. I did something to you. I threatened to kill you. I stole your boyfriend. I tricked everyone."
Hunter just rolled her eyes and looked around she crowed. When she saw Newt, she winked. Newt gave her a discusted look and crossed his arms. Everyone started arguing because of what Hunter said.

I stood up and walked over to a control pannel. There was a button flashing, and skittishly pressed it. A woman appeared on the screen. Everyone stopped talking and came over to where I was.

"Hello there. I am Ava Paige, Chancellor. If you are watching this, you have sucessfully completed the maze trials." I looked at Newt and he looked back at me. He grabbed my hand and pulled me close.

The lady continued.
"Why you are here is for scientific reasons. I'm noy sure you remember, but the sun scorched our world. Leaving millions parrished and thousands dead. Then something dangerous arrived. We call it the flare. A deadly virus that affects your brain. Causing you to go insane. Researchers found a generation that could potentially survive the flare."

There were people in the background rushing in with guns, shooting down many of the workers.

"You are very important and critical to the human race. But it might be to late. For you- and for me." She pointed a gun to her head. I stiffened and Newt started rubbing his thumb on my hand.

"Just remember. Wicked is good." The lady pulled the trigger, making her limp body fall off the chair. I looked away and placed my head on Newts shoulder.

He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forhead.

I heard someone snort and it was Hunter.

"Aw look at that. The loser and the suicidal. What a great couple. Always showing affection." Hunter reached around her and pulled a gun out, pointing it at me. Everyone shifted backwards away from her. She laughed.

"Oh come on sweetheart. You thought you were done with me? After making me banished in that maze?" Her smile immediately faded. A snarl taking its place.

She lifted it so it was pointed at my head. I didnt flinch. Showing no emotion.

"NO." A voice from behind her was heard.

We all snapped our heads back.

There stood Chris, pointing a gun right at Hunter.

And he was stung.

"Dont. Kill. My. Sister." He growled.
"Kill the bastard that caused this." He pointed his gun towards Newt.

"Oh who are you again? Oh right. The losers brother. You don't tell me what to to do buddy." Hunter said.

Chris shrugged. His fingegr twitched on the trigger. Thomas was about to jump infront of Newt when Chuck pushed him away, going infront of Newt.

And it all happened so fast.

Someone threw a pole into Chris, and the bullet flew. As if it was in slow motion, I screamed, and I ran towards Chris. He fell to the ground. A faint breath flying from his lips.

"T-tomas." Chuck said. I looked back, and Chuck fell into Thomas' arms, blood seeping through his shirt. Newt looked like he was in so much shock, an Thomas was screaming.

"No Chuck- Chuck no."

Chuck reached out and placed the wooded carving of a doll inside Thomas' palm. Thomas shook his head.

"Chuck your going to give it to them yourself. Remember?" He tried pushing it back to Chuck, but the curly haired boy resisted.

"No. Take it- thank you. Thank you." He hastily whispered. Chuck weakened and his heart gave up, making him fall softly against the floor.

And Thomas screamed. Everyone covered their mouths as the death of our youngest glader.

Hunter laughed. She. Laughed. Then clapped.

"Wow. I should have gone for the losers brother." She looked at Newt then me.

"How bout we add some more drama to this shall we?"

She slowly walked towards me.

"This is for EVERYTHING." She gritted her teeth while whispering in my ear. Hunter stood up, smiling and pointed the gun to my head. Newt ran over, ramming into her.

But she shot to quickly, getting my shoulder, and she fell to the ground.

I slowly followed her, falling onto my back. The pain was unbearable; it felt like death. Tears flooded my eyes.

"When Hunter fell, she dropped the gun." I thought. My arm stretched as far as it could, and I wrapped my hand around the cold metal. I pointed the gun to her heart. Newt ran over, crying.

Hunters eyes widened.

"Goodbye." I whispered. I pulled the trigger, and she screamed.

Some people arrived, dragging the gladers away to the outside world. They finally pried Thomas off Chuck; and Newt away from me. Newt struggled, and pulled himself away from the 'guards'.

He leaned down and whispered, "I thought being trapped inside four stone walls would have driven me insane..until you showed up." He leaned down and softly kissed my forehead. Tears spilled from his eyes as the guards came back, draggingg him by his eblows away.

Someone started to drag me away.

I was on the cusp of death, greeted by the reapers friend,

but not quite death himself.
