the four– no, the five of them, including daegal are walking on the sidewalk. they've been walking for fifteen minutes but no one even dared to talk, especially jeno. he's still thinking about what he saw earlier in jisung's room. he regrets barging in but who knows? if he didn't go inside, the two would probably start eating each other's faces.

and again, they all went silent.

but jaemin decided to talk again, the silence is so awkward and it was making him uncomfortable.

"hey, uhm. can i ask something?"

"sure, go on."

"are you guys... you know... boyfriends?"

the moment jisung heard the word 'boyfriend', his eyes widened, he looked at chenle to see the older's reaction but he was surprised to see that chenle is looking at him too. he quickly looked away and cleared his throat, "we are n—"

"yes. yes, we are."

chenle said without hesitation. jisung's cheeks are starting to get red and his heartbeat is getting faster. he looked at chenle, laughing nervously, "w-what are you—"

"we've been dating for three months, and since i live alone, i decided to move in with jisung." chenle said without even stuttering or messing up, he just said it like he really mean it.

"why didn't you tell me?" jaemin looked at jisung, his reaction shows how surprised he is. "you never told me!" he giggled.

"i... i'm not yet ready to tell you."

"wow, chenle! you really trust jisung, huh? you guys are only dating for three months yet you already moved in with him! you really love him, don't you?" jaemin's eyes sparkled in excitement.

"i do. i do really love him." chenle said while looking at jisung.

but jeno suddenly spoke, "boyfriends? but didn't you say earlier that you are jisung's friend and his roommate? that's suspicious." he said, emphasizing the word 'friend' and 'roommate' which made his tone sound very rude.

"no, that's not 'suspicious'. you're just dumb." said jaemin, making jisung laugh a little. "he said it because he was not ready to reveal their relationship yet, just like what jisung said. right, chenle?" he looked at chenle. the younger male nodded. "see? now tell me, if we are hiding our relationship and we are not yet ready for the people to find out and someone asked us what are we, what are you going to do? lie."
