Felicity’s POV
Oliver and I walked home slowly, enjoying each other’s company. The air was nice it was warm evening I was enjoying the air as I fished through my purse and got the keys to my apartment we walked in slowly I set my keys down before noticing the open window. I was almost certain I closed it but I guess I didn’t. I was exhausted, physically. There was nothing I craved more than sleep. I tossed my purse on the couch and hopped in the shower without another word. Oliver entered after me and closed the window and door.
While I was in the shower I kept asking myself the same question was she alive and if she was how? We buried her. I remember how much Laurel cried but she was not to know until we were sure. Laurel and Captain Lance were doing better. I wasn’t going to tell her not yet. Oliver also knew better than to get her hopes up and then send them crashing down in a ball of inextinguishable fire. We knew we had to be sure before we said anything to anyone even Digg, but for now we had to investigate. There was something else bothering me though. If she was out there why wouldn’t she come home, was she lost? Also what did Nyssa want with me? I was unsure what kind of threat I posed. It always bothered me, because I didn’t do anything to anger Ra’s, maybe I did. All this consumed my energy I was confused in the matter. I got out of the shower to dry my hair and made my way to the living room where Oliver sat on the couch. He looked at me as I walked in and snuggled up beside him. He kisses my head and I look into his eyes. I can see concern in them.
“Felicity, what’s on your mind?” he asks still looking at me.
“I was thinking about the possibility that our “fallen” friend is out there.” I say breaking eye contact.
“Felicity if she is we will find her.” He says softly while stroking my arm. “Laurel can’t hear about this, neither can anyone else until we are sure.” he states, and I smile.
“That’s what I was thinking in the shower, besides wishing you were with me.” I suddenly realize I said out loud. “And by with me I mean not with me…” I say trying to fix my previous statement. “This weird thing will end in 3…2…1.” I say looking up at Oliver to see a cute charming smile on his face. He kisses me softly. And I kiss him back tenderly. He brings me closer so I can rest my head on his shoulder.  We stayed like that until it got late and I fell asleep first. My lids felt heavier than anything so I closed them sending me into a world of dreams and wonders. And that night I dreamt of Sara. It seemed so real. Could it mean something? Was she really out there?
