Chapter 4

Barry’s POV

I was training on increasing my speed to catch the Reversed Flash when I got the call from Roy. I stop and answer my phone.

“Hello.” I say bringing the phone to my ear.

“Barry?” The other voice asked.

“Yeah?” I ask concerned.

“It’s Roy Harper. You know arsenal?” he says I stay silent. I had a bad feeling about his call. Anyway I got bad news.”

“What’s the matter?” I had a hunch it involved Felicity I don’t know why I just knew.

“It’s Felicity. She’s been… attacked and she’s in a coma.” He says and my heart sank.

“What exactly happened?” I ask knowing that whatever it was it was horrible.

“She was stabbed in the stomach by a sword it went through her, and… she had a deep cut on her chest.” He says as his voice breaks and I can tell he is concerned.

“Does Oliver know?” I ask assuming he knows.  

“Yeah, he is by her side right now.” He answers.

“Did he tell you to call me?” I ask knowingly.

“No.” He answers bluntly.

“I’ll be right there!” I say as I hang up the phone. “Katlin, Cisco, Dr. Wells I’m going to Starling City.” I say as I put on my flash suit.

“You can’t Barry!” Dr. Wells protested.

“I wasn’t asking.” I say leaving nothing but a red streak behind me.

She was hurt and I felt the need to be by her side although she may not even know that I’m there but I wasn’t going to give up on her I was going to see her I needed to although she liked Oliver I liked her, maybe as more than a friend. I was bolting past cars and running faster than I ever have before. I saw a sign that said “Starling city 300 miles” At my rate I should be there in a couple of seconds. I was using my trip as training also. I was so worried that I ran faster than ever before. I needed to be with her and I was determined to get there. My feet moved the fastest on their own.

“Hold on Felicity. I’m coming.”
