Annie woke first, George spooned up against her and his arm protectively across her waist. "Guess we didn't need those 2 bedrooms," Annie said to herself with a smile. Last night was an eye-opener for her. She finally realized what a joy sex could be. She had no preconceived notions about sleeping with George. She assumed it would be a series of steps to get to the goal, just as she had experienced before. At 29, she finally knew what all the hype was about.

Annie couldn't blame Steven completely. He was in the dark as much as she was, but he seemed to think suggestions from her cast dispersions on his manhood. Experimenting, just having fun, just being together wasn't in his wheelhouse. It was necessary, it was something to be done and completed like mowing the lawn. Annie shook her head to change the channel. Life just changed for her in amazing and beautiful ways.

"You're awake?"

Annie nodded. "Just barely. I was thinking of ordering coffee from room service. Would you like tea?"

"No thanks. Coffee is good." George kissed her shoulder and moved so Annie could roll over into his arms. "You sleep okay?"

"Just perfect. How about you?"

"Better than I have in months, thanks to you," George told her tenderly. "By the way, you talk in your sleep. You called my name and when I asked you what was wrong, I realized you were fast asleep."

"Oh, I'm sorry if I woke you up...."

"No, it's okay. It's kind of nice knowing someone is dreaming about you."

"Oh, you have no idea," Annie giggled, then coughed to stop her from going into a full blown laugh attack. "So what time is the meeting today?"

"I'm meeting my producer at 10. You don't have to come to that, unless you want to. Then we are meeting with an entire room full of lawyers. I'd like you to keep track of what the hell they are saying because 90 per cent of it is going straight over my head."

"Why all the lawyers?"

"Someone is suing me." George noticed Annie's eyes open wide and concern flashed across her face. "Oh, getting sued just means it's Wednesday. Don't worry. People throw lawsuits around like candy at a carnival."

"We're meeting with your lawyers?"

"Yeah."

"Then why don't they use language that everyone can understand? I mean that's bullshit keeping you in the dark so you practically have to get a translator to know what's going on. Even doctors can't pull that crap."

"You are the voice of reason, Annie, but the world is not reasonable. Nor is it fair or built to give everyone a shot at their dreams."

"Didn't you have your dream come true?"

"When I was young, I wanted to be successful, not necessarily famous," George said, pulling Annie in close to him.

"I guess there's a big difference...," Annie answered, holding him tight and kissing his neck.

"A big difference," George emphasized. "Annie," he continued seriously, pulling her closer to him. "Last night meant a lot to me. It meant a lot to be with you. I want you to know that."

"Oh, George," Annie purred against him. "Last night was amazing. You have no idea what it meant to me."

He curled her in closer and kissed her forehead. "I'm going to jump in the shower. Would you like to order breakfast?"

"Sure," Annie agreed. "What do you want?"

"Surprise me," George laughed.

"Ok. That's easy. It's really hard to screw up eggs."
