A/N -- Ah, finally I got an update finished! I don't know where the time goes---somehow, it just melts. But, lots of fun things coming up---mostly, Eve's visit, the handsome Jeremy Robinson and the usual ins and outs for Annie, George and little Ava. A new character is on the horizon, too. BUT smut ahead....so if you are under 18, please move on.

Before breakfast, George instructed Annie in meditation and prayer as he did every morning. Ava sat in her bouncy seat close to them, her little hand in a tight fist that popped out from under the blanket the second Annie tried to cover her.

After the lesson, George took Ava with him while Annie cooked breakfast. Ava was started on a mushy rice cereal mixed with the breast milk Annie pumped whenever she had a chance. When the pancakes, hash browns, eggs and toast were done, Annie called George to come and eat. He waltzed in with Ava, singing "All Shook Up." Annie laughed.

"You eat, Annie," George insisted. "I'll give Ava this....ah....whatever it is."

"Okay, love. You want tea or coffee? Or orange juice?"

"Juice and tea, please."

Annie turned her back to George to go to the refrigerator for milk and orange juice and when she turned back, she watched him test the milky rice cereal by placing some in his own mouth.

"George....," Annie said slowly.

"This tastes like shit...," he smiled brightly at Ava while she gurgled at him with a little grin. He fed her a small ½ a teaspoon.

"That's because the rice cereal is mixed with breast milk....," Annie began to laugh.

George turned toward Annie as he winced. "Fuck," he commented with a slight smile. "You could have warned a guy. Won't kill me, will it?"

"No," Annie smiled as she kissed his cheek. George's free arm wrapped around her hips and he tucked her close to him. Annie laid his head against her chest and ran her fingers through his hair.

George sighed happily and released her. "You going to call Eve today?"

"Yes," Annie replied, giving George a plate of food that he began to eat with his free hand. Annie sat down with her plate across from him. "If I plan it right, it will be in the middle of the night there...you know, for consistencies sake."

George laughed. "Last time I talked to her is when you were....um....not here. She blasted me with both barrels. I love her, don't get me wrong, but she's a handful."

"Yes she is," Annie smiled. "But she'll always be there for her friends, you know?"

"I don't doubt it for a second. She's a wonderful person to have on your side."

..............................................

Annie spent most of the day planning for the party, which was going to be on Saturday, October 28th. RSVP's were already coming in and she needed to think of a menu and what caterer she was going to use. George gave her free rein to do whatever she wanted, as long as she outsourced as much work as she could.

"I'd rather have you save the energy you have for Ava and me," he told her with a huge smile. "Is that chauvinistic?"

"I don't think so," she answered after thinking for a moment. "I'll think of it as concern for my well-being."

George had taken Ava into the studio with him as he worked on finishing a song he had started several weeks before. He kept her tucked in the crook of his left arm, and managed the sound board with his right, carefully keeping the volume lower so it wouldn't scare her.
