Happy Friday, dear sweet Beatlemaniacs! Here's the latest Friday update. I hope you enjoy it! Coming up, there will be some situations that are totally dismissive of the date. Things happened in George's life in the 80's, let's say, and I'm popping it into the 70's. Of course, this is fantasy fanfiction so we can have anything happen at anytime...like the old comedy saying says, "You buy the premise, you buy the bit."

Happy, happy weekend and thank you for stopping by and checking on George and Annie! You are absolutely the best!!!  Much Love and Enjoy! :-) Lara xo.

It was Friday, September 19, 1975. Annie and George walked into the kitchen together and were greeted by an empty room. Everyone was sleeping in and it gave them a last chance for a cup of tea for him and coffee for her before all hell broke loose. Everything was as ready as ready can be for Saturday's wedding. The solarium was organized with 12 tables and there was a small podium for the Registrar to marry them. Once that was over and the podium removed, a stage would be put up for the local band to play while dinner was served. After, the tables would be moved to the side of the room and outside on the patio to make room for a dance floor. The stage was big enough to accommodate the attending musicians and Annie was sure they would definitely take advantage of it.

Annie and George sat close together at the table, sipping their coffee and tea.

"When are you going to John's?" Annie asked.

"Noon. But if you need anything, just call his house. Then I won't see you until tomorrow at 3. Do I have that all right?"

"Yeah. Perfect."

"And I'm taking my tux and an overnight bag."

Annie nodded. "I'm going to miss you tonight," she said with a pout. "I think I'm going to sleep in Eve's room and leave our room for tomorrow night."

"That's a nice idea," George nodded, leaning over to kiss her.

"Oh...who has the rings?" Annie asked.

"My dad. He's got a death grip on them too. And since we're walking together to the Registrar, where am I going to meet you and see you for the first time?"

"At the solarium door. I'll meet you there at 3."

"That'll work," he smiled.

Annie stayed in Eve's room that night after returning from a wonderful Italian meal at a local restaurant and a trip to the pub. She kept her drinking in check, afraid she'd look like a hungover bride the next day if she just let it go. Sleep seemed to escape her except for fits and starts, and it was nearly 4am when she finally fell into a deep sleep.

"Wake up, bride. It's your day today!" Eve exclaimed. She jumped out of the bed and got Annie's dress from the closet, carefully unzipping the garment bag.

"Oh, god," Annie moaned. "What time is it?"

"Time to get in the shower because the lady who is going to do your hair and make-up will be here in an hour and the photographer will be here around the same time. Your mom is on flower duty downstairs and Donna is on caterer watch. This day is going to be perfect for you and George if I have to kill everyone here to make it that way."

"What time is it?" Annie repeated.

"Nine, dear girl."

"I need coffee."

"Let's go downstairs for a quick cup and then you get in the shower. You should eat a little bit too. You don't want a growling stomach when you're saying 'I do'."
