I went straight to my office after I had returned from Mia's engagement, I was still following strict orders from the Alpha regarding Aubrey. In the last few days, she had gone into the human territories, but she would sit alone on a bench in the park. I had Ric follow her into the human cities since he is a shape-shifter so it's easier for him to not get caught. I was supposed to go to the cells with the Alpha in a while, he wanted to pay his brother a little visit. Aubrey was his mate, we needed to interrogate him, after what's happened with Caterina, my own mate, the Alpha is not willing to blindly trust anyone. He's become even more protective now since the Luna is pregnant. He had the guards and warriors training twice as harder than they already were, he had Ric do his spells around the pack house, it's simpler to say he's taking it a little too far.

I plugged my phone to charge, the battery had died on the way home. The Alpha and I were the only ones who had attended Mia's engagement. Luna Serena usually got her morning sickness at night, so she refused to go.

Once my phone turned on, I had a message from Mia, I tapped on her name to check what it was.

Hey. I'm so sorry I didn't get time to meet you before you left. I loved the present, thank you! :)

I decided to reply to it before heading towards the alpha's office.

Hi. Don't worry about it, you can make up for it when you come this week. You're welcome ;)

I kept my phone away, and walked out of my office, Adrian's office was just down the hallways so I knocked on it before entering.

"Adrian," I nodded my head at him, he nodded back in response as he stared at his computer screen.

"I'm just waiting for Daniel, then we can go to the cells," he clarified to my silent question.

"I can text him to meet us halfway," I suggested.

"Yeah just do that," He said getting up, he grabbed his jacket before we walked out of his office. I had texted Daniel that we were picking him up, we had to drive for a while till Adrian's late father's house, Ace was in a cell over there. While we were going to be there, I wanted to check if the interior decorator had done what the Luna had ordered, they were supposed to move there soon. Then I would be in charge in this pack house but Adrian was planning on buying the whole ground from here up to the royal grounds, it wasn't much of a distance. I got into the passengers seat since Adrian was driving, we discussed the event next month for his coronation, it felt weird saying that, king Adrian, yep, definitely weird.

"We need a bigger venue," He said as he parked outside Daniel's house.

"Why?" I asked, our venue was already big enough.

"Well, our pack had 3000 members last year, of course since then about 300 have mated decided to move away but we still have 2700 members, majority is children and teenagers who will not be attending, that narrows it down to 1700 pack members, including the elders. I invited several Alpha's but that wasn't good enough for Serena, she invited the beta's and gamma's of all those packs. Now instead of a venue for 5000 people, I need a venue for almost 8000 people since we need unmated males there," he growled. Oh right. The Luna's plan.

"Yes, I'm aware of that, Serena actually wants the unmated females of our pack to find their mates," I replied.

"I know she means well, but where are we going to hold such a huge event?" Daniel got into the backseat as Adrian asked that.

"What's up?" He asked, I summarised Adrian's venting.

"Ah I see," he nodded his head.

"Why don't you just host it at your mansion?" He suggested.
