Dance it off

Ally's pov

Me and Tori were getting ready at my house. This week has been terrible. Normani really helped me out earlier. It felt good to break something. Speaking of breaks, I missed Dinah. At the same time, I hated her. Every time I saw her, I just wanted to yell at her. I know we needed to talk, but when we did, I didn't want it to just be us yelling at each other.

I felt like the only way that this relationship would work was if I stopped being friends with Mani. I didn't want to do that, but Dinah would never believe that we were just friends. I didn't know.

"Are you sure that you still want to go? We can stay in and watch movies, or do something completely different?" Tori said, laying down on my bed

"No, I just want to go out and sing and dance my problems away." I pulled her off the bed.

"I can tell"

Tori and I walked through the doors of the building with our guitars in hand. I took a look around the beautiful establishment, and I saw the only person that I had no intention of seeing, staring me down like a hawk. "Tori, what are Lauren and Dinah doing here?" I asked not to mask my attitude.

Tori looked over my shoulder. "What? I swear on everything that I love; I did not tell either one of them about this."

"You better not be lying. I really don't want any problems tonight."

"Hand on the bible."

Something told me that this night was going to get worse for me if I stayed too long. I was ready to sing this song, so I could go.

Me and Tori sat down at a table. Soon Monet and Coleman walked in. We greeted them. "Well well well. Look at who is coming to the winning team." Zendaya smiled  as she hugged me.

"You mean that I'm really getting transferred to you two?" I said in disbelief. I didn't think that it would happen this fast.

"Yeah, we are. Say goodbye to LAD and hello to CAM." Victoria giggled.

Normani, Keke, and Megan walked in, and I couldn't help but to stare at Normani. She looked incredible. She introduced me and Tori to her sister, Keke, who I could tell was the life of the party.

"The gang's all here besides Kehlani and her girl. They said that they are on their way." Zendaya informed us.

"Is that Little Monet? I see?" A voice boomed from behind me.

Victoria gave a toothy smile as she  hugged the lady. "Hey Auntie."

Jennifer Hudson chuckled as she  hugged the girl back. "Hey friends. Oh my goodness. Y'all got my two favorite students with yall. Hey Ally. Hey Tori. How do yall know each other?" She walked over to us with her arms spread wide. We embraced her back, and she held us there. "We all work together."

"What a small world."

"Auntie, where is Aunt Maya?"

"Uh she should be in the back getting the equipment ready."

"Okay, I'll go bother her afterwards."

"Yes, you know how she can be. Let me go help her. I want to hear all of you sing tonight." She winked at us before walking away to help her best friend.

Two girls walked up to us. One looked very familiar, and the other one I didn't know.

"Oh shit. Tori, that's her."

"Which one?"

"The one without tattoos."

"You want me to cut a bitch?" She said while pulling out her butterfly knife and showing me the blade.
