New Beginnings

Normani's point of view. 

That was so crazy. I couldn't believe Dinah got up on that stage and did all of that shit. Ally quit both of her jobs which was odd. Ally told Dinah that they were officially done. The press was going to have a field day with this damn story. I already told my publicist to get ahead of it. She was there, so she was already working on it. Me and Ally were in the limo, going back to my house since she was staying there. This day had been so eventful. First, Ally and Dinah had a huge fight at the department this morning. Second, I confessed my feelings for Ally. Third, the auction fiasco. I was exhausted. I just wanted to sleep. Not to mention that Ally wants to talk tomorrow. Oof. She had been really happy since we left the auction. She hadn't let go of my hand. We arrived at my house. 

"I can't wait to get out of this dress, shower, and go to bed. Today has been a day." I said entering my house. "Can you help me out of it, please? I can't reach the zipper."

"Yes." Ally moved my hair out of her way. She slowly unzipped the zipper for me. 

I rolled my eyes. "Thank you, grandma." 

Ally giggled. "Do you need help with anything else?" Ally wiggled her eyebrows at me suggestively. 

"Oh my God! No, you perv." I laughed as I ran away from Ally. 

"You can't blame me for trying." Ally shrugged. "I'm going to go shower and No, you cannot join." 

"I wasn't going to ask." I stuck my tongue out at her. "Come find me when you are done. I want cuddles." I said, walking towards my room. 

"What about what I want?" Ally said, following behind me. 

I turned around to look at her. "What do you want, Dr. Hernandez?" 

"To be the little spoon." Ally leaned against the wall. 

"Give me one good reason why you should be the little spoon." I raised an eyebrow at her. 

"Because this has been a very emotional day for me, and I am jobless." Ally pouted. 

Damn. Today had been one hell of a day for her too. Fine. I will concede. "That's two reasons, but I guess I will let you be the little spoon." I rolled my eyes playfully. 

"Yay!" Ally cheered. "I will see you soon." She kissed my cheek before skipping away to her room. 

I had to remove my makeup and wrap my hair before I showered. After I showered, I did my nightly skin care routine. When I finally left the bathroom, I saw that Ally was already on my bed watching TV. "Why don't you make yourself comfortable?" 

Ally looked over at me. "Fucking finally. You're out. You were in there for like an hour." Ally sat up and cut my television off. 

"It takes time to look this good. You should know that by now." I pulled the sheets downward to get into the bed. 

"Yeah, yeah. Hurry up and cuddle with me." Ally whined. 

"Okay. I'm getting in." I climbed into the bed, and laid down behind Ally. I draped my arm over her stomach. This isn't our first time sleeping in the same bed together, but this is our first time cuddling like this. Usually she just climbed on top of me when we were sleeping. I didn't mind though. She was very cute when She was asleep. "Are you comfortable?"

"No." Ally pushed me onto my back and stuck her head into the crook of my neck. She draped an arm and leg over me, making herself more comfortable. "Now, I am comfortable. I like being on top of you." She giggled. 

"I'm glad that I can bring you comfort. Now let's go to sleep." I wrapped my arms around her.

"Good night, Mani." Ally kissed my cheek.
