It was a dream. I was falling, just falling. There was a void of darkness, everything

was slow, and there was nothing to stop me or save me. Bear in mind this was the first

dream where I probably remembered everything vividly. It terrified me.

I sprung up, not in my bed, but on my desk. Giving me the worst neck pain ever.

Why was I by my desk again?

Oh, I remember, a certain someone forgot to text me she reached home yesterday.

This wasn't the first time Daisy did that. And usually I found her at school half asleep on

herself.

I sighed rubbing my temple, I'm gonna kill her. After a really cold shower, I rushed

downstairs and found my mom chopping up some fresh fruits for tonight.

"Good morning sweetie" she smiled "Dad's rushed off to work early this morning so

I'm gonna drop you guys off this morning. That alright?"

"Yeah, it's cool." and at the moment I felt a head lock nearly separating my head

from the rest of my body.

"Good morning little brother." Ugh its Benji and he was in the process of passing me out.

Benji was taller than me, around 6'2, buffed to the point where you can see his

muscles through his shirt. His hair, a lighter color than mines. And even though his face

seemed really friendly as soon as he opened his mouth your perception of him would

change instantaneously.

"Don't you have a hoop to miss, you terrible shot."

Yep, that pissed him off, he walked away in a huff. Growling like some bear. As I

said before, he plays basketball, not that good at it though. Last game he got benched and

dad drove us home without saying a word. I felt like I was gonna get wacked over the

head if I even breathe too loudly.

I looked over to mom and she scolded me a little "What?!"

"You should be a little kinder to your brother."

"It's not like he's any kind to me. Or anyone in fact."

"Yes but he's not as accomplished as you."

Accomplished? I smirked at the word Did she mean brainwashed, groomed at an

early age? My parents, they want what's best for both me and my brother but when they

realized that Benji would not have been as good in academics, they had a chance with

me. As soon as I learned to even read my mom got me a whole lot of stuff. Languages,

musical instruments, a Tutor. It's like, because they weren't successful with their life they

passed on their goals and ambitions to Benji and I. Ughhhh I needed to vent. I needed

Daisy right now. And even if I were mad at her, she would give me the best advice.

I was watching the people on the road, and I had the strangest knot tied in my

stomach. I didn't realize It at first but today felt kind of.... sad. I look at down at my

palms which held my phone, the contact was Daisy. Two missed calls and four messages.
