Chapter Twenty Five

Renée's P.o.V

I was leaving English when I ran into one of the Valentine boys, Riley I think, he smirked and looked at me, he and his brother always had something to fucking smirk about, and most of the time it for no reason at all, it was just a permanent smirk.

"Riley, HI." I said looking up at him

"Hey there." he said with a smile

"Whats up?" I asked

"Just headed to class, you?" He asked

"Just headed back to the house, headed to the gym with Nat."

"No invite?" He said chuckling

"Nope." I said shrugging

He scoffed and shrugged as he walked towards he building

"I suggest you two wait to go or you wont have a good time." He said with smirk

"Whys that?" I asked looking at him

He laughed and walked in the building, I kissed my teeth and rolled my eyes as I made my way down the steps. I walked back to the house and went inside, Nat followed me to my room and I put my backpack down and changed into a pair of shorts, a tank top and a pair of Air max, I put my hair up and walked out of the bathroom.

"Riley said we should wait to go to the gym." I said not looking at her

"Why?" She asked

"I dont know, he wouldnt tell me why." I said with a shrug

"He was probably just being annoying like his brother." She said rolling her eyes

"Good point." I said nodding, "Speaking of, where is that bastard? Haven't seen him today."

"You're right, it's almost abnormal." She said narrowing her eyes and getting her phone out

"Maybe he's busy." I said looking for my headphones

"Better not be getting some ass or we gonna fight." She said crossing her legs

"Why?" I asked

"He knows why." She said rolling her eyes

"I guess then." I said shaking my head and walking out of the room

Nat and I headed to the gym and when we got inside we seen nothing but the basketball and track boys all over the place, I tried to slip back out of the door and Nat smirked as she stopped me.

"No, this should be fun." She said pulling me back inside

"Nonono." I protested

"Just trust me." She said nonchalantly

"Last time I trusted you, we ended up getting arrested." I said rolling my eyes

"That wasnt supposed to happen." She said looking away

I laughed and rolled my eyes, it was back in high school when she got us arrested, she said long as we run faster than the rest of the kids we'd get away, we ran faster than the other kids, but the problem is that she didnt know the police were already out looking for us because it was past curfew, so we ended up getting in trouble for breaking our curfew and also destruction of property. It was a waste of chickens as well, I could've ate them bitches.

"Now, just follow my lead." She said waltzing off

I chuckled and walked right after her, we went back to the section where the tredmills were and it wasnt much better back here, where the fuck were these niggas shirts at? Was it not wear a shirt day or some shit, I looked at Natalia and she had a sneaky grin across her face, I let my head fall back and sighed as I looked at her.
