Having no work to do always feels odd, especially in college. Like something is wrong and I definitely forgot about some assignment or exam. Nevertheless, I found myself bored out of my mind in my room with nothing to work on. Tara was busy at her desk but I bugged her again, "You're sure you can't stop for like half an hour, T? We can go online!"

"Emily I really gotta get this done, it's due tonight!"

"Why don't you call your girlfriend then?"

"She's probably working too."

"Well at least annoy her instead of me." I groaned and texted JJ.

[Emily- 7:28] u upstairs?

There was no reply for several minutes so I texted again.

[Emily- 7:34] babe? you okay?

I called her up when my second text went unanswered. She didn't pick up, so I grabbed my keys and just decided to head up there. I jogged down her hallway to her door and knocked a couple times. She sounded out of breath and yelled, "Who is it?"

"Jayje, it's me. Is everything all right?"

"Why? What's going on?" I heard some fumbling around for the next minute until JJ finally answered the door. I cautiously walked inside and asked, "What was that all about?"

"Nothing."

"Is Penelope here?"

"No, there's some theater club meeting tonight. What's up?"

"I was just bored and was wondering if you were doing anything up here."

She quickly replied, "No! Nope, definitely not doing anything. In here. Just relaxing."

I chuckled, "What's wrong, babe? What were you doing in here?"

"Nothing, Em!"

"Well can I... sit with you?"

She nodded and jumped onto bed before patting the space next to her, "Mmhmm. Come on up." I kicked my slides off and crawled next to her, wrapping my arm around her as she snuggled into my side. We stayed like that for a few minutes while chatting until JJ got up to pee. As soon as her bathroom door shut, I sat up a little more and started digging around; I had a feeling I knew what was going on in here before I came in.

I looked through her nightstand drawers and mumbled under my breath, "C'mon where is it?" I sighed and slid the last drawer open, coming into contact with the item of my search: a vibrator. I laughed as I picked it up, but the timing was inconvenient.

JJ stepped out of the bathroom and gasped, "Hey! Put that down!" She stomped over and snatched it from me before blushing in embarrassment and scolding, "Who said you could look through my things!? Snoop!"
