Alex's pov
"Listen to me very carefully Alex:you're in America now,so you need to listen to American music."Greg held up some vinyl records,"these are rock n' roll."he explained.I tilted my head in confusion,"Rock N' roll?"i said."here just listen."he said,he placed down the records he was holding and took out one.he gently placed it on the record player,loud music immediately began to play.I widened my eyes,stars appeared in it as I listened to the music."it's great isn't it?"Greg asked,"it's amazing!"i said.he stopped the record,I frowned."trust me,there's plenty of amazing music out there.like,I have some friends who are starting a band."he explained,"isn't that hard?"I asked."yeah,but they'll be fine:I'm technically their manager."he said,"woah..."I whispered.

"Greg!Alex!dinner is ready!"we heard aunt Marie call out from downstairs,"I'm gonna try my best to convince aunt Marie to let me take you with me,don't worry."he said.we stood up and left his room,we went downstairs and to the little dining room which was in the kitchen.after aunt Marie served us and sat down we all began to eat,"ma,I wanna take Alex with me tonight."he said."to your friends house?"she asked,he nodded and ate some of his food."I don't know Greg."she said,"maybe I'll learn something from them aunt Marie."I spoke up.she looked at me,"yeah ma,you know how smart some of them are."he said.she gave him a look,"ok only Krist is smart,but please ma?I mean maybe she'll have fun!"he said.

"Who's Krist?"I thought,aunt Marie sighed."alright alright she can come with you,but no funny business Greg or you're grounded."she said,"thank you thank you thank you!"he said.he hugged her,he stood up and stood me up.he grabbed my wrist and led me to the front door,"do we need to go now?"I asked as he handed me a coat."yeah,I promised them that I come over tonight."he said,"besides,do you really want to spend your first day in America at home?"he asked."no not really."I said,he handed me boots."then let's go,I promise it'll be fun."he said,"maybe he's right,and maybe I'll get to meet this Krist guy he mentioned."I thought.
