Dave and Kurt came by to Alex's house to meet her parents and to have some breakfast since they already checked out.Marco Ferric(Alex's dad)insisted on driving the band and his daughter to the airport,saying that it was more convenient and a lot quicker.Alex's parents quickly got to know Kurt and Dave,and after eating breakfast and saying goodbye,Alex's dad helped load everyone's things into the car,since Kurt was the skinniest he had to sit in between Dave and Alex while Krist sat in the passenger seat.when they arrived at the airport Marco Ferric handed Alex her plane ticket,assuring her that she would be with the guys.

She tearfully said goodbye to her dad,promising to call and write whenever she could.Krist winced,it reminded him of when he had to say goodbye to Alex.he clenched his hand into a fist,swearing that he'll never have to say goodbye to her ever again.after saying goodbye to her dad Alex followed the guys into the airport,they walked towards their gate and sat down next to each other.Dave's legs were constantly going up and now,Kurt was drawing and writing down song lyrics,and Krist and Alex were listening to music and chatting."I still have the mixtape you gave me."she said,he blushed in embarrassment.

"figured you would've burned it by now."he joked,she laughed."no...no...it actually helped me go to sleep when I first came back home."she admitted,Krist's face changed.he turned and faced her,"Alex,I promise you we'll never have to say goodbye to each other ever again."he said.he grabbed her hands and held them up to his lips,gently kissing them.she blushed,"Flight 470 is now boarding."the speakers said."let's go lovebirds!"Dave said,quickly standing up.the band(and Alex),grabbed their things and boarded the plane.Dave and Kurt sat together in a row while Alex and Krist sat in the row behind them.rather then having the window seat,Alex decided to let Krist have it this time.

After the buckled up she wrapped her arms around Krist's arm and rested her head on his shoulder,he smiled and gently kissed her forehead before taking one of her hands and gently holding it,rubbing little circles around with his thumb.Alex wasn't nervous or sad like the first and second time she was on a plane,now she was happy.she had her best friend,her new friend,and her fiancé.touring will be tough,but so's Alex."pssst!Krist!Alex!you guys want food?"Dave asked his bandmate/friend and his friend/bandmate's fiancé,but to his surprise they were already fast asleep."what did they say?"Kurt asked when Dave sat back down,"nothing,they're asleep."he said.Kurt was shocked but impressed,"let them rest."Kurt suggested.Dave nodded,staring out the window and letting his legs go up and down again.
