Marie's pov
"Hello Marie,how's Alex?"I was talking to my sister Julia,aka Alex's mom,and filling her in on what Alex's has been doing since she came here."Ah that's good,I can't wait for her to come home."I gulped,hesitating for a moment."Marie?Marie are you still there?"I shook my head,snapping back into reality."Y-Yeah,yeah,I'm still here."i said,"Is something wrong?"she asked in a concerned tone.I sighed,"Julia...Alex's fallen in love."She gasped."Awww!what's his name?"she asked,"Krist."i replied."What a lovely name,"she complimented,"anyways why do you sound sad?"she asked.I raised an eyebrow in confusion,"Julia,don't you see the problem?"I asked.
"Alex might not want to go back to Italy."Julia laughed,"She knows she has to go back."I sighed in annoyance."Julia for gods sake we can't separate them,who knows if they can handle a long distance relationship."i said,"Marie,I get it.but this Alex's own fault anyway,she knows that she has to come back home when she graduates high school."I started to get agitated."Well maybe you should just talk to her yourself then.because then maybe you'll understand that she wants to stay here with him,with Krist."i spat,getting angry."What does this Krist boy do anyway?"she asked,"He has two jobs and has a band with his friends,who happen to be Greg and Alex's friends."i replied.
"Look Marie I don't want to talk about this anymore,May is almost here and soon Alex will come home.understand?"I didn't say anything."Understand-"I cut her off,"Fine,fine,but that means you'll need to deal with your heartbroken daughter."i said in an angry tone."She'll move on."i widened my eyes in shock,Feeling angrier I hung up on her without even saying goodbye.I sighed,rubbing my forehead.I then heard sniffling,I looked up and turned my head,I widened my eyes.Alex was standing in the living room,Greg was behind her."Alex..."I began to say,she began to cry and ran off."Alex wait!"i said,Greg stopped me."no mom,she...she needs to be alone right now."he said,I looked at him and then at the open front door.I sighed,"I tried Greg."i said."I know mom,I know."he said,he hugged me.
