"Twenty questions, we tell the truth. You've been stressed out lately? Yeah, me too"

This chapter is a bit of a filler cause I haven't had much time to write, plus I wanted y'all to get to know Joe and Taylor a little better (:

   POV Taylor:

"Joe", I say softly, my face buried in his neck.

"Hmm?" I play with the string of his hoodie. "We know each other", I start, "But I don't.. I don't know who you were before I- before we ran away. I don't know your friends, don't know what kinda job you do..."

He twirls a strand of my hair between his fingers and smiles, "I don't know much about you either... What if we ask each other.. twenty questions? And we have to answer our own questions as well?" "That should be fun." My mind is already racing with a million questions as I nod. I want to know everything about him.

"When's your birthday?" he asks first and I sit up so I can look at him.

"Thirteenth of December. 1989."

"Twenty-one February 1991. You're older than me."

"I guess I am", I laugh, "What is your dream job?"

"Always wanted to be an actor, but I thought I was too shy when I started college. So I went to law school in Columbia and now I'm a- eh.." he stops for a second and then rambles on, "I am a criminal defence attorney with a master in project management. I mainly make sure everyone gets their salary and sometimes I get a case, but not that often anymore.. Haven't had one in months honestly.."

"You're a criminal defence attorney?"

"Yeah, I hadn't told you that yet, I guess.."

"You're practically helping a criminal here. You could probably get fired for talking to me without going to one of your colleagues."

"You're a very.. a very nice criminal."

"With blood on her hands."

"What is your dream job?" he asks, ignoring my comment, a smirk lingering on his lips.

"Joe.."

"Taylor.. You know how I feel about you. I just want to help you, and love you. What is your dream job?"

I sigh, but answer his question anyway, "A singer, I guess. Like, performing and all that. Have fans that I could love with my entire heart. I didn't go to college, my life was too messy when I was with him and then I was running so yeah.. I will probably never get a 'real' job anyway" I shrug, hoping he can't see how much I miss having that.

"You could still do college", he says, sitting up too, and cupping my face, "I had a forty-eight-year-old in my class." "I'm twenty-six, not fifty", I laugh and he rolls his eyes, "You know what I mean." "Yeah.. Well, I don't think so. But maybe." "It could be fun. I'd go out with you. To clubs and all that. Help you study, pull all-nighters together."

"Let's first get rid of Morris and make sure I don't end up in jail."

"I'll be your attorney if I have to", he smiles and I kiss his lips, "Wouldn't do that to you, but you're sweet." "You know, I'm very good at my job and I think if we play it smart, I could put them in jail and have you continue your life."

"Next question please", I say, feeling my cheeks burning up.

He kisses my face and laughs, "Favourite movie?"

"Hmm... Right now, I love Little Women, but I love everything Marvel as well. Yours?"

"I like Star Wars a lot, but my favourite is The Lion King, probably."
