The Time He Became Brave

Everyone went home to pack, Haji changed into a different outfit for the outside journey. It was a black shirt with a high collar ( like Shino's jacket collar), the same style of puffed out pants that were tightened with bandages around his ankles, black finger-less gloves, coal, open toed shoes with spikes on the bottom, his headband tied around his waist, and a black cloak with a hood, the inside of the hood was a starry blue. He put his weapons in their place and put on his backpack and headed out the door without Kakashi.

"Haji! You look so cool in your new outfit!" Sakura gleamed with hearts in her eyes as they gathered at the front gates.

"All right road trip!" Naruto shouted as the six of them began to leave the village.

"What are you babbling about?!"

"This'll be the first time in my life I've ever been outside of the village!"

"Am I really expected to place my life in the hands of this fool?" Tazuna complained.

Kakashi sighed, " There's no call for concern I'm and elite ninja, and I'll be along, too."

Naruto than began to shout about how he will become Hokage an dhow everyone will have to respect him. Tazuna dismisses this saying he'll never respect him even if he became the Hokage.

"It's all of the genin's first time out of the village Naruto, so quite making a scene!" Sakura pounded Naruto on his head.

"That's not all true Sakura," she and the others looked to Kakashi, "This in't Haji's first time out of the gates."

"What really! Is that true Haji?" Sakura gushed at him, he nodded in return. "When did you come out here?"

Haji didn't say anything, Kakashi sighed hoping that he'd talk if he had told Sakura about him being out the village before, so he explained for Haji, "When he was four he traveled here on his own."

"What! He was only four! Where were you Kakashi Sensai, why weren't you with him?"

"Well," he looked at Haji, " I never knew I Haji was my son until he came to the village," he exclaimed while looking back to four, "He lived with his mother in a different village, but the village was ambushed by rouges and his mother told him to come here to find me."

They looked at Haji who just listened not really interested in the conversation, "Wow," Sakura admired. That's so sad... she thought.

As they walked on, Sakura began to question Tazuna about the Land of Waves and if they had ninjas, it in turn ended up being a history lesson. After they doubted the Hokages strength, they came across a puddle, Kakashi looked at it, Haji examined it from the corner of his eye.

They walked passed it and two heads popped out of it, they wore black, and had gas like mask with clawed, gloved hands. The two flung their gloved hands out making chains wrap themselves around Kakashi.

"What?!" Kakashi shouted.

Everyone turned around frightened at the sight.

"One little piggy," one of the ninja said as they tightened the chains cutting Kakashi into pieces. everyone held a scared expression, excluding Sasuke, and Haji had a bored look recognizing that Kakashi used a replacement justu.

"Kakashi Sensai!" Naruto called out to him.

The enemy ninja snuck behind Naruto, "Two little piggies."

Naruto frozen in fear didn't move, Sasuke took action locking the chains onto a tree with his ninja stars and shiruken. The chains not coming loose. Sasuke jumped on the two and collided his feet with their heads. They unlached their chains and dashed towards Sakura, Haji and Tazuna one of them headed for Naruto. He got closer to Naruto but before he could hurt him Haji jumped in front of him pushing him back slightly, getting his own arm cut in the process, but the claw ended up hitting Naruto's hand as it cut Haji's arm. Haji kicked the enemy in the stomach causing him to fly back heading to his partner. Sasuke shifted in front of Sakura who protected Tazuna. Haji flash stepped in front of Sasuke lifting his leg and pushed the enemy back with his spiked shoes hitting the claw hand away just as Kakashi showed up head locking the two.
