The Time Haji Became Death Bound

Once they got back to the village Anbu surrounded them, "Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto, you can go on home." Kakashi told them giving them his famous smile. They nodded, eyeing the Anbu, saying their goodbyes and left. Kakashi looked to Haku and Zabuza, "Alright lets go, on the roofs so we don't cause a commotion," They all jumped up on top of the buildings, Kakashi securing Haji on his back. A medic Anbu eyed Haji.

"Kakashi, should I have a look at Haji?" he asked.

Kakashi glanced at Haji, "When we get to the Hokages building," Once at the building they go through the door to see the Haokage, Ibiki, a few more Anbu, and the other sensai's. Kakashi sat Haji against a wall, immediately the medic Anbu looked him over with green, glowing hands.

Kurneai stepped closer to Haji, "What happened to him Kakashi, he looks pale."

"... I hit him my lightning blade."

"What?!" Several shouted.

"S-so he's..." Gai stuttered.

"He isn't dead," The Anbu said plainly but a hint of worry sounded through his voice his hands going over Haji's chest.

"Why would you hit your son with that Kakashi?!" Gai rambled on, upset that his nephew was nearly killed.

"He was protecting Zabuza and I," Haku stepped up, everyone looking at him in confusion," He knew that Gato was going to betray us and made a deal with me that if we stopped the fight, he'd welcome us into your village. Although, I don't think the boy had the authority to do so, "Haku smiled down at Haji, "He still wanted to try though." He paused, looking towards the Hokage, "When Kakashi was attacking Zabuza with the lightening blade I went to sacrifice myself to save Zabuza, but Haji was faster and stepped in front of me. You have a very brave shinobi in your village, Lord Hokage." Haku bowed, " Which I hope to be apart of."

Everyone stared at Haku shocked, the Hokage cleared his throat, "There will be a few circumstances in your stay, but," Haku looked up at him, as the Hokage smiled, "I'm sure we can make an arrangement." Haku's and Zabuza's eyes widened shocking everyone else. "Now," he looked at the Medic and Haji's form, "Tell me Haji's state."

"He's alive and well, he seems to know advance medical ninjustu," The Anbu nodded, "But," he paused, "There's something wrong with his heart and lungs, something serious that I cannot heal without getting a better look at it."

"Is it from the lightning blade?" Asuma asked.

"I'm not sure -"

Before anything else was said Haji sat up, wide awake, making the medic jump. He rubbed his eyes sleepily. He looked up making a confused expression after seeing everyone in the room, he tilted his head to the side and looked at Haku and Zabuza, them both already staring at him. He smiled, shocking the ones who knew him, "I see you're both well." He stood, wincing slightly and then bowed to the Hokage. "I would like to request that these two become citizens and, if they wish, shinobi of Konoha, please."

The Hokage chuckled, "We have already discussed this Haji, while you slept." he than became serious looking straight into Haji's eyes, "Are you aware of the damage of your heart and lungs Haji? Please tell me you ddin't use those justu's that specifically told you were forbidden!"

Everyone stiffened as they looked at Haji, he was frozen as well embarrassed for being caught. He lowered his head in shame not looking at anyone, "Yes, I used those justus."

"What are these justus, Why haven't I seen you use them before this mission?" Kakashi walked over to Haji, but he stayed silent.

"Haji!" The Hokage shouted.

Haji flinched, he felt embarrassed and uncomfortable with everyone's stares and glares, "It- it's a justu that if the user performs it, it will automatically attack the heart and lungs, possibly even shortening their life span by a maximum of 11 years and as little as 8 months. It's sort of a double edge sword taboo. The user uses their blood to attack, chakra is sometimes in the blood as well and can burn and disintegrate whatever it touches."

"Haji! Why would you use that sort of justu? Who showed you it?!" Kakashi was furious.

"How many times did you perform since our previous conversation about this?" asked the Hokage.

Haji stayed silent for a moment and though about the times he trained with the justu in the woods and training grounds and on the mission. "3 times on the mission which would make a total of about 35-42 times, sir..."

"Haji," The Hokage slams his fist on his desk standing to his feet, cause everyone to jump, Haji's heart pulsed and lungs collapsed slightly. "That could have killed you!" The hokage went on and on about the dangers of Haji justus without realizing that his shouting and fist slamming the desk was causing physical harm to Haji.

All of his words were blurred, Haji's eyes wide in pain as he tried to listen but to no avail. Only catching a few words, "Are you listening Haji,' the words and voice was distorted and someone was calling his name but he couldn't respond. He clenched his hand around his chest where his heart was, someone touched his shoulders, he started to perform medical ninjustu on himself.

"Somethings wrong," Haji said more to himself but everyone else heard, his breathing became hollow, "Stop... stop shouting," his hearing became filled with screams his vision clouded with blood and bodies of the people in Hideyoshi Kingdom. Haji's heart swelled as blood poured out of his mouth and onto the floor. " Fire...Blood... Blood.... BLOOD There's to much blood!" He began to shout thinking he was in the kingdom again. He coughed up more blood, he looked up to see the King Hiroko, his grandfather, against the wall dead, Orochimaru standing over him.

His eyes became filled with hate, hands and arms wrapped around him, "Grandfather!" He looked at who he thought was orochimaru, "Don't you touch him!" Haji got himself away from the arms that encircled him and perform hand-signs. "Forbidden Act: Gisei Chimamire no Baioretto Me Chen!" Small chains wrapped themselves around his mouth forming into a black mask, around his arms making gloves. His left eye changed into all black with the iris a violet color .

He charged and attacked.
