The Time Self-Pity Became Fear

Kakashi still hugged Haji, refusing to let go of him, much to his dismay. Not wanting to make Kakashi upset anymore he just stood there. Turning his head to side to face the Hokage he looked at him seriously. "Lord Third," everyone looked at the boy, Kakashi loosening his grip. "I think it's time you resign as Hokage and give someone who is more suitable at the moment."

The Hokage stared at him before agreeing, "I believe you're right Haji."

"But Lord Hokage-"

"He's right. I am old and growing weaker, I think it's time to leave my post as Kage and spend more time with my family," the old man smiled.

Everyone in the village helped out with cleaning the damages of the battle. People died, so they were buried others injured so they got bandaged up. It took awhile and it was sad at some moments but everybody made it through.

The Hoshi's still haven't left which worried Haji, they should have gone back like all of the other foreigners that came for the exams.

Hiruzen and the counsoul had finally decided who should be the next Hokage, at first they suggested Jiraiya but he declined, leading to one other person.

Tsunade.

"Hey Naruto before we leave I want to pick someone else up as well," Jiraiya states turning a corner.

"Huh? Who is it?"

He looked around before his eyes landed on the person he seeks, "Ah, there he his," he waves his hand at the boy, "Hey Haji come here!"

"WHAT?! Why him!" Naruto complained but was ignored as Haji walked over to them after walking out of a store.

Jiraiya grinned a Haji, "Who would you like to come with us, Haji, to find Tsunade? You were the one to suggest we have a new Hokage."

As Haji was going to respond he glance to side, "Sorry, I can't not now." He replied not looking at them, "There's an issue I have to take of," Haji started walking away, "Bring her home boys." He waved before jumping on the rooftops.

And so began Jiraiya and Naruto's jouney on finding Tsunade

Haji hid within a tree as he watched what was happening below.

Two men wearing black cloaks with red clouds on them stood in front of Kakashi, Kurenai, and Asuma. One man had blue skin and a large sword on his back, the other had black hair and the Sharingan eyes.

Kisame Hoshigaki and Itachi Uchiha.... What are they doing here? Haji thought.

Kakashi's eyes widened, "Both of you keep your eyes closed! Both of you under no circumstances should you open your eyes, if you look into his it's all over."

In the next second Kakashi fell onto the water where they stood.

"What happened Kakashi?" asked concerned and confused.

"You're here for Sasuke aren't you?" Kakashi said breathless.

"...No... We are here for the forth Hokages son."

Haji's eyes widened, Naruto!

Before Haji could decide on to go back and take Jiraiya up on that offer Itachi spoke up, "I know you're up there so there's no point in hiding anymore." Itachi's eyes over to the tree Haji was in making Haji glare.

Haji jumped down and landed next to Kakashi avoiding Itachi's eyes.

"What are you doing here Haji, get out of here!" Kakashi told him.
