The Time His Eyes Became Cracked: Haji Revealed!

Shock and confusion inched it's way onto everyone's face.

"Haji Hatake wins!" Hayate shouts, "This ends the first match."

Medics zipped over to them checking Mari's injuries as Riko, Kazu and Batya ran over to her limp body. Everyone else stared at Haji not knowing what to do or say. Haji's eyes no longer the natural purple, he staggered back a few steps to give the medics more room as he turned around. Not making eye contact with anyone, but the Hokage he glared than walked to the opposite way up the stairs where the sand ninja stood.

Temari, Kankuro and their sensai looked uneasy as Haji walked past them Gaara glared slightly.

He past the sound, they nervously stood there.

Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, Kiba, and Hinata started to run over to Haji to see if he was alright, but was stopped. Kakashi flashed in between them and Haji.

"Haji," Kakashi stepped towards him . He glanced at his dad from the corner of his eye. Blood stained his face as it streamed down his cheeks from his eyes and mouth. His eye met Kakashi's than went straight ahead covered by his hair.

"I'm going to the restroom," Haji stated, walking to a hallway where the restrooms where located along with several other rooms, holding his shoulder that still bled.

Naruto called after him but was ignored as Haji went into the restroom locking the door.

He stepped in front of the mirror gazing at his reflection dully. There was a chakra signature outside the door, he knew it was Kakashi so he didn't do anything but stare at the door waiting for his dad to leave.

Several minutes passed before Kakashi's signature had gone back to the arena.

Haji looked back to the mirror only to have his eyes widen and his feet step back. In the mirror was himself as Sayuri but her eyes were covered by her long white bangs. Violet covered her face as if it were blood, she was covered in scratches and bruises. Haji composed himself his eyes turned lifeless as the dark circles under his eyes became even darker. He knew what this meant. It will soon be time.

Haji touched his eyes, feeling the warm, sticky liquid glue to his finger tips staining them red. He gazed at his hands than looked back at Sayuri, she held her hand up to her face as well but instead of red staining her fingers it was the purple that inked her skin. Her eyes now visible.

They were dead, lifeless.

Haji let his arm go limp at his side, as did the reflection of Sayuri, as the blood dripped to the floor. Staring into the lilac eyes of the truth the mirror cracked, running several lines through Sayuris face.

After several minutes of self loath Haji began to heal and bandage his wounds before finally leaving the restroom.

Once he was out there he walked over to where his team was, minus Sasuke.

Sakura and Ino saw him since they where standing next to one another after they had tied, "Haji!" They waved at him causing the others to look.

Naruto's eyes lite up with fire, "What the hell was that Haji! Why weren't you gonna fight back?" Naruto pointed and growled angry and confused he was going to say more but stopped after seeing Haji's eyes. Naruto's eyes widened, H-Haji?
