2 days later...

The funeral took place in the late afternoon two days after the Hoshi's attacked. Although there was no body, they picked what little ashes remained of Haji. The sun didn't shine a single ray of light in the sky only hid behind dark rain clouds that painted the lonesome sky. Leaf shinobi and a few citizens dotted the in rows of black. Nobody laughed, nobody smiled just sad frowns and tears.

Kakashi stood in the front of the crowd Gai close behind him. His eyes hollow of all emotions, he's seen death, yes, many times, but this... this was an unbearable pain that he no longer could express. His child was dead and he's never see them again, until his time comes. He did not bother going to the KIA stone knowing very well that Haji's name was already carved on it and he had locked himself up for these two days only to be dragged out for the funeral.

Starting with the back row, where most of the citizens stood, they walked up to the photo of Haji and placed a Asphodel flower next the Vase of ashes. Row by row everyone went some stopping to say a few words while they wiped their tears away. Once it got to the other nine rookies memories flashed in their minds. Rather those memories began sour they always ended with a happy yet sad thought.

Sakura passed setting the flower down with a tear stained face, Ino trying to hold it in, Shino with a pitied and knowing gaze, Kiba an upset angered pout on his face, Lee sniffling, Neji and Sasuke an unfazed look but Sasuke held a softer tone to it, Hinata shaken hands, Choji biting his lip as he walked back in line, Naruto cried silently and Shikamaru nowhere in sight. Gai, Asuma, and Zabuza's heads held down, Kurenai crying and Haku trembling slightly but did not cry, The Third Hokage blowing out a puff of smoke bowing his head as did Ibiki.

Shikamaru's parents looked around for him as did Choji, Ino and Asuma but no sign of him. Kakashi just merely stood there while everyone passed barley nodding when someone gave him sympathetic words.

Just as the funeral was getting ready to come to a close with some last words Shikamaru comes running up with a strange flower in his hands, it was called a ghost orchid, Ino gasped slightly as she saw the flower it being very rare.

Shikamaru could remember him, Choji and Haji were playing in the woods one day when they got lost and ended up spotting this flower. For three years now Haji had taken care of it so well that it grew several more and it had instantly became Haji's favorite flower for its strange looks. He placed it on top of the other flowers and held out his hand as if to shake Haji's hand. Not really expecting anything his eyes widened as a single rain drop splashed onto his thumb before sliding off landing on the orchid thousands of rain drops following seconds after.

Umbrellas rose as Shikamaru's eyes closed before he decided to walk to the crowd, bowing at the soaked Kakashi. Gai seeing Kakashi with out a umbrella stood next to him to help shield him some.

Within the next few minutes the funeral ended. Than an hour later only Kakashi stood there, the rain now in a misty haze.

It turned to night Kakashi no longer at the grave sight. (I'm going to have to skip over the part were Kakashi tied Sasuke to that tree and talked to because I totally forgot about that part and we all know that his chat with Sasuke didn't make him stay in the village.)

Sasuke stared at a photograph of team seven all five of them in it before he put it face down and left his home. He walked down a stoned path with a backpack heading to go out of the village only to be stopped by Sakura. The two bickered back and forth as Sakura cried, "Don't leave! If you do I'll scream!" Sasuke flashed behind a stunned Sakura.

"Sakura...." he said, "Thank you," than he hit her knocking her out and laying her on a nearby bench. Than he left with the Sound four.

Three days had past since attack, the Hoshi's marched back to Hideyoshi cheering songs as they went for they had their precious Queen back. Laughs were heard for miles and smiles echoed throughout the people. Akio, Kazuhiko and Haruo had ran ahead to the kingdom to deliver the good news and get a welcoming party set up.
