Ibiki walked down the hall to the Hokage's office.
Ever since Haji's death questions were storming his mind.
Knocking he heard a come in and went in seeing The Third Hokage and Lady Tsunade. Bowing to the two he said "Lord Third I'd like to speak with you on-"
"I already know about Haji and Sayuri Ibiki," Tsunade said knowing where this was going. "Whatever you have to ask Hiruzen I can answer as well."
Ibiki looked to the Third in which he nodded, "Alright... How come the transformation justu didn't disperse when Sayuri was killed? Shouldn't it have the moment she was stabbed?"
"Sayuri was able to hold the justu while being injured," Tsunade answered.
The Third expanded, "She knew that if the justu was released we would be left with explaining why Haji was a no longer Haji. Queen Sayuri didn't want to leave Kakashi confused with unanswered question. So she kept the justu going."
"I see... so that means she really is dead..."
The two were silent Ibiki taking this as their way of sadness and left it at that. He began to leave but, "Before you go Ibiki you have been requested to a village," Tsunade interrupted his thoughts.
"Hm," he turned around, "what village?"
Ibiki now walked down a dirt path with clenched fist, Of all places, why there? Of all people, why the hell me?! He thought bitterly.
He had been asking himself this same question for the past week as he walked, taking his time, to the Kingdom of Hideyoshi. Apparently, they had made a special request to see him so he could use his mind interrogation skills on a prisoner.
He finally got there and was immediately brought to the castle. He hated it, especially since the very man who killed Haji stood in the throne room with him. Mamoru... He barred his teeth as he glared at the man.
Ibiki faced toward the throne waiting impatiently for the leader of the Kingdom, what reason? He had no idea.
All of a sudden the palace doors opened and several pairs of feet flooded the room and a small voice echoing the large room, "eh?" than a gasp as heels clicked against the marble floor. The person ran at Ibiki, he sensed this and spun around to defend from a attack. But no weapon was out, thin arms merely wrapped themselves around Ibiki's neck.
"Big brother!"
Said man fell backwards from the force, long strands of hair covered him and the floor as his eyes were met with bright lilac orbs.
"Sayuri?" she nodded furiously. Ibiki smiled widely as a he began to laugh with joy and crush her in a hug, "I knew you were alive!"
