A few days past before Haji woke up but when he did he found himself in darkness. He reached up and touched his eyes, bandages covered them so he tore them off. His eyes ached when the light reached them, it was mid afternoon.
There was something warm at his feet looking over to the warmth he found Pakkun asleep. Haji sighed and attempted to get out of bed without waking the dog up but failed as Pakkun stirred than yawed, "Looks like you're finally up, kid."
Haji glanced at him before grabbing some clothes and headed to the bathroom to shower and brush his teeth. Once he was brushing his teeth he saw his reflection, the dark bags under his eyes were getting worse just like they have been everyday. His black orbs emotionless.
Heading back to his room Pakkun sat on his bed waiting for his return only to leave, "I have to go tell Kakashi you woke up, see ya," than he was gone in smoke.
Deciding that he didn't want to wait there for Kakashi, Haji left with his art supplies and ninja gear.
He flash stepped on the roof tops to the Hokages faces and climb up on top and sat on the Third Hokages head looking out at the village. Taking out his sketch book and paint bottles setting a canvas down next to him that had an unfinished painting on it, he began to sketch out the village. Within just a few minutes his hand started to shake. Looking down at it he chose to ignore it and continued.
He had just finished making a quick outline of the village when he felt someone watching him, more like several people watching him. He recognized most of them as the Hoshi's and one as Kakashi, but there were two others. One he remembered as the boy from the sand Gaara, the other...
His eyes widened, his grip on his pencil tighten causing it to snap. At a fast speed he grabbed and threw a kunai knife behind him hitting a rock wall. Soon after a shadow jumped out, but disappeared before he could see if his guess was right or not.
Haji glared at the spot than composed himself glancing to the Hoshi's than at Gaara's hiding spot, which soon left in a whirl of sand. He sat back down tossing another knife almost hitting Kakashi who hid in a tree. "There's no point in trying to hide if you suck at hiding your chakra."
Kakashi sweat dropped and came out laughing nervously while scratching the back of his neck. "So you knew I was there, heh."
He walked up behind Haji as he drew more of the village and stared at his sketch. "I still have no idea how you can draw like that... You must get it from your mothers side, I guess."
"Of course," Haji can remember being in the castle and there being paintings of previous and recent nobles scattered across the walls in giant frames, one of Mi-Kimi and King Hiroko. Several smaller and large paintings of animals or scenery's that everyone said Mi-kimi made. He even remembers finding a sketch book hidden within a desk draw that belonged to her when she was alive, within the book was a drawing of Kakashi's face. But of course at that time he didn't know that until Kakashi took off his mask to eat when he first came to the village.
Haji could feel Kakashi hovering over him which was irritating. He looked back at him annoyed, "Why are you even here?" he looked back to his sketch. "Did you get tired of the orphaned Uchiha?"
Kakashi stiffened, "Pakkun told me you were awake so I thought I'd come by to make sure you were alright."
"Well, as you can see I'm fine so you can go now," Haji replied bitterly.
Kakashi sighed, "Haji we need to talk about what happened. For instances, what's been going with you lately? You've been getting more irritated, sad, and moody, why is that?"
