*A/N ~ theres probably going to be a cliffhanger at the end of this and i take ages to update but ill try and do the next chapter as quick as i can*

*TW ~ fucking sad.*

All day i've been practically bursting with anxiety , i was in my last class of the day , charms and potions i had no clue what our professor was saying , i just stared blankly at the table in front of me whilst fidgeting with the sleeve of my robe .
"miss Alderidge!"
My head shot up and my eyes widened .
"yes sir ' i said in a rushed tone .
"do you have any idea what the answer is" he patronised .
I looked at the black board and none of what was written seemed familiar
*of course it didn't i wasn't fucking listening*
"Miss Alderidge , i'm waiting for an answer" his stern tone interrupted my thoughts.
"i-i'm sorry professor, i don't know the answer" i looked down shamefully .
He scoffed "of course you don't..fifteen minutes after class and 10 points from Slytherin" he said proudly as if he liked embarrassing students.
i just nodded in response and pretended to pay attention.

After my fifteen minutes were up , i frantically left the classroom to find Bella . I was practically running around each corner of each corridor , my breath slowly ran out and i adjusted to a more convenient walk . My eyes were scanning students and clusters of people for Bellatrix . In a state of frustration i carried on walking and lowered my head , letting out a big sigh , but then i felt myself collide with someone . We both fell to the floor , my books scattering across the tiles , I looked up and saw none other than Harry potter , my anxiety kicked in again , just at the thought of what was going to go down later this evening .
He was the first to scramble to his feet followed by me , Harry hesitantly bent down and picked up my books , handing them back to me.

"i'm so sorry i wasn't looking where i was going , i was in such a rush" he said
I looked down at him , the obvious height difference between a sixth year and a first year showing . I reluctantly took my books from his hands and gave him a soft smile .

"no worries , its just as much my fault , i wasn't looking where i was going either "
"oh and , thanks" i said gesturing to my books

"no problem , anyway i really should be going , i'm looking for someone " he replied and quickly rushed off .

I sat on a nearby bench and let out a deep breath.

"Y/N!" i heard that unmistakable voice shout through the crowds .
"finally , i've been looking for you all over" Bella said as she hurried over to me .
"ugh me too , you'll never guess who i ran into .. quite literally" i rambled and she gave me a puzzled look , waiting for me to tell her.

"the boy" i blatantly said
"i'm so nervous about later Bella , what if something goes wrong" i continued.
She sat down next to me and put an arm around my shoulder.

"don't worry my sweet , i promise we'll be fine , he's a harmless 11 year old" she chuckled a little .
I looked to the floor with anxious eyes and stayed silent . She tilted my chin up with her hand and rested it on my cheek , i  was met with those gorgeous dark eyes and that soft smile that rarely showed . Her small gesture made me smile and a light blush covered my face .
"i will do anything to keep you safe little one , and when i promise something , i don't break it . I promise we will come out of this unharmed " she whispered .

I placed my hand over hers which still lay on my face .
"thank you Bella" i whispered back.

*6:00pm*
It was evening dinner in the great hall , Dumbledore bellowed his usual speech whilst students lazily ignored him , but also chose to stay quiet . Soon he stopped his words and instant conversations arose throughout the tables .
Bella , Chester and Willow began chatting away about their day , i looked down at the table and didn't even bat an eyelid when the food appeared in front of me , i was too busy thinking about what was soon to come .
"Y/N" i was snapped out of my trance
"what wrong" Chester said"i called your name like four times" he continued.
