CHAPTER 53
Ramona's POV
I opened my eyes and in the moment I did it, the horrible pain in my body disappeared. I looked around me and the first thing I saw was Raveenna. She was crying. And squeezing my hand. Her sobbing made me shiver. Who did this to her? Who put her in a situation like this? Who made her cry?
''Raveenna?'' I asked in a whisper. Yes, because I couldn't do much more of a whispere. My throat was dry and I couldn't talk.
She immediately looked up, surprised, as if she wasn't convinced if she was really hearing my voice. Her hand in mine winced. ''Ramona?'' she whispered at me, her brown eyes exploring my face, searching for something.
''Yeah, it's me. Raveenna...what happened?'' I asked, rubbing my cheek with the other hand. God, my head was hurting as somebody used the Cruciatus Curse on it. Raveenna gave me a shocked look. ''Please, tell me that you're kidding. Tell me that you remeber what happened,'' she begged me. I thought for a moment, ignoring the pain in my head.
Then I remebered. The battle. The green light that flew towards me from a wand; the Killing Curse that hit me right in my chest.
''Rav, why I'm not dead?'' I asked my friend, disbelief. She looked in my eyes, a small smile growing on her lips. Her cheeks were still wet because of silver tears that were running down her cheeks. ''You remeber,'' she said, happily. I rubbed my head. ''Yes. Yes, I do. But why am I alive?'' I asked her again, curious. As I know, Harry is the only one who survived the Killing Curse.
'Not any more, twinny.'
Morrison's voice in my head made me jump. ''Mother of all flying llamas in the world!'' I yelled and everybody looked at me, curiously or scared. Just Morrison was staring at me with a smirk on his face. ''Ram? Are you OK?'' Harry asked and I noticed Dumbledore's amused smile.
''This was the longest swearword I've ever heard,'' I heard somebody mumbling. I turned to see Lauren. I gave her a question look. ''For all potatos, what are you doing in here?'' I asked her, whising that I could poke her. I don't know why, I just wanted to poke her.
Oh God. Please, say that I'm not becoming weird again.
Lauren rolled her blue eyes. ''I'm here because of your twin, not because of you!'' she said, flipping her hair. I rolled my eyes, hearing Raveenna who chuckled. ''Yeah. Fine. I got it myself, thanks Sherlock,'' I said. She stared at me as if I was a goblin.
''Who the heck is Sherlock?'' she asked. I shrugged. ''Ask Hermione. Muggle thing. A film. The actor who's acting Sherlock is pretty handsome,'' I said, ignoring the weird looks of my friends. ''Oh come on, stop staring at me and watch the film!'' I yelled at them. The rolled their eyes, just Harry chuckled, making me know that he watched the film.
I looked back to Rav. ''Now tell me, why the heck am I alive?'' I asked my friend for the third time. She was silent. Her cheeks were becoming red. I poked her. ''Rav?'' She was still silent. I looked to Morrison.
''Twin?''
Silence.
''Lauren?''
Silence.
''Harry?''
Again, silence.
I rolled my eyes. ''Cedric?''
Silence.
I was slowly having enough of this. I jumped of the bed, ignoring the dizziness. I turned to face Dumbledore. ''Headmaster,'' I started, feeling like the Minister Of Magic while having his speach. ''I'm beggin you to tell me why am I alive when the Killing Curse hit me right in my chest!'' I ordered to Dumbledore who tryed to hide his amused smile. He repliced it with a serious face.
