CHAPTER 69
Raveenna's POV
''When will he come back? What if Voldemort caught him? Oh my gosh, my poor, poor baby! What if-''
Finally I had enough of Lauren's complaining and worried squealing.
''Shut up! Can you?! And, if you forgot, Voldemort is his father, he wouldn't kill him!'' I yelled at her, frustrated and angry.
The room was filled with silence and I sighed. They were so annoying, talking and arguing for the last...I looked at the clock. It was four in the morning and they were talking for the last hour. My head was about to explode.
Lauren snorted. ''Yeah, he wouldn't kill him. He killed Ramona, if I may remind you, Miss Brain,'' she said with a sarcastic voice, flipping her hair over her shoulder.
I winced, hearing her name. Now I really didn't want to talk or think about her.
''Miss Crouch, Miss Cage, stop. Can we go back to the main thing? We have one day to learn everything and examinate everything. Miss Crouch, can you please continue?'' Dumbledore stopped our arguing and Lauren's complaining and babbling.
We were in Dumbledore's office since we all have returned back of the Manor. We told him everything, how she lied to us and how she betrayed us. Dumbledore wasn't surprised, he looked more like hurt. And I can't blame him. She destroyed us and we all perfectly knew that without her we can't win. If the descendants aren't together, Voldemort can't be killed. It was a logic end.
''Well, as I said, I understand Ramona. She didn't do it because she's evil or because she's a creature without heart, she did it because-''
''She is a creature without a heart! Don't pretend you haven't seen her in the first weeks! She was awful, she was pure evil and she has never changed!'' I shouted, interrupting Lauren. I felt those damn tears burning in my eyes, wanting to escape from them, wanting to run down my red cheeks.
Everybody looked at me in shock. I turned to Fred. His chocolate brown eyes were hurt and full of pain and when I was looking at them I felt a wild urge to go to the Malfoy Manor and strangle Ramona with my hands. How could she do this to Fred?! He loved her with all his heart, he gave her his heart and his amazing personality, he protected her and he was there for her. And what she gave him in return? Pain, tears and heartbreaks. She was a monster.
''Raveenna, you're just hurt and angry, you don't mean this things, we know you,'' Fred murmured, avoiding my look. This made me angry.
If Ramona thought me anything good this was: never hide your emotions. Maybe I couldn't hide them anymore because of the 'explosion' that happened...a month ago? I don't remember.
I gave Fred a wild, desperate look. ''Don't tell me you still love her, Fred!'' He looked at the floor, his cheeks coloring pink. I sighed. ''Fred, she hurt you. How...how can you still love her?''
I can't believe I said this. I sound so pathetic and like a jealous woman but I just had to say it.
Diggory sighed, chuckling a bit. ''Well, this is love right? That you still love a person that hurt you and broke your heart.'' Fred looked up, nodding like a fool and staring at Diggory like he said an I-don't-know-how-clever thing.
''Yes! Yes, you're completely right, Cedric.'' He paused. ''Yes, Ramona broke my heart. She made me feel pain. But I still love her with all the broken pieces of my heart,'' he finished silently.
We were all silent. I didn't exactly know how I felt after his words.
Dumbledore was staring at us with a small smile on his lips. ''Teenage love, how sweet,'' he said with a voice, full of compassion. ''I'm sorry but I have to end your emotional scene. We don't have time to fool around, every minute is important in a situation like this,'' he continued and Fred, Diggory and Lauren all nodded in agreement.
