While even though Melanie had requested for her and Sam to come along with the team, she somehow became swamped with last minute weddings things.  She wanted to make sure the vendors were still on board with what her and Spencer's visions were - well, mostly hers - on their wedding night. It was possibly the least stressful thing she did truthfully since their venue was Rossi's backyard.

"The unsub must have been following them. He knew their routine." Sam had hypothesized out loud.

"Yeah, that's interesting." Melanie said, nodding her head.  These victims likely didn't even see him coming until he smashes into them. And then after he's done so, incapacitating them, he walked right up to the car so what? they can see him pull the trigger?"

"Considering he can walk up to someone and shoot them is a bold move." Sam replied. "Not to say that shooting people is a bold thing but he crashes into their car then shoots them? Bold."

Him and Melanie had been in the meeting room of the local PD going through witness statements as the team scoped out the crime scene and talked to witnesses. As they were going back and forth with their theories, JJ, Emily, and Spencer came back - Spencer handed his fiancee a sandwich and a coffee.

"Aw, Spence. Thank you!" Melanie told him.

"Of course. With this and the wedding, I know you're a bit stress and comfort food helps you." He said.

"Now I want to marry Spencer." Sam joke.

The women and Spencer laughed at Sam's teasing words. Spencer then began to explain what information they have gathered with eye witnesses.

"It's like this man has been all over the place. Coming and going." Melanie pointed out.

"This paints a far different picture. than what we were walking into." Emily added. "Between the hesitation that Dave and Luke found and this reckless behavior, we're missing something."

And just on cue, Penelope was calling in.

"Hey Penelope you're on speaker." JJ announced to her.

"Fam--"

Both Sam and Melanie couldn't help but to chuckle at that.

"--okay I have been doing some digging and I have been discovered a rare and beautiful artifact like the teeth of a baby raptor. Six weeks ago, our first victim, Andrea Hinojosa, had a phone conversation with our second victim, Paul Burke. It only lasted a few moments but this is the only connection we have because they don't live in the same areas. They don't frequent the same catinas, nothing, nada." Penelope explained.

"Could it be someone associated with one of the cases Andrea was working?" Spencer questioned.

"It could but Paul has never been arrested. He's not listed on any police reports or anything like that." Penelope answered.

As she kept going with her research, the detective of the police station had called over the agents.

"Oh, oh! I heard that! Is that a lead?" Penelope asked.

"Thanks, Garcia!" JJ exclaimed as she ended the call.

"See you later."  Spencer whispered to Melanie. He kissed the top of Melanie's head before following his teammates out.

The detective was explaining to the agents that the stolen vehicle the unsub had was reported. He had sent his own men to the location where they had found it while Emily had instructed Rossi and Luke to head over as well - but with caution.

Who they thought was the unsub, Mark Zabel, was not the unsub at all. The male, now deceased from being shot by officers, had told the police unit that was out there that someone was making him do this and that his wife Lynn Zabel was in danger and was able to give them an address before he was shot.
