Melanie and Spencer had spent around two weeks in Turks and Caicos. Originally it was only a week long but they were enjoying the relaxation and spending time with one another that a week just was not enough (also it had gone by too fast for their liking). Of course they knew getting back into the swing of things at work was going to be hard after having a relaxing vacation but it was worth it.

"How was your vacation?" Sam asked as the two of them stepped out of the elevator of the BAU. Spencer had a class to teach. "Was there a lot of loving?" A grin appeared on the male's face.

Melanie rolled her eyes. "As if I'd kiss and tell." Despite saying this, the apples of Melanie's cheeks turned a light shade of red which made Sam smirk. Noticing this, Melanie gave her friend a small shove. The two walked into the bullpen when Anderson had approached them.

"Good morning," he greeted. "A package was delivered to you, Mel. I put it on your desk."

Melanie thanked him and walked over to her desk where there was a box sitting on top of her desk. She couldn't remember if she had ordered something recently.

"What a box. What'd you order?" Sam asked.

"I don't even know. I'm trying to think about the last time I got drunk and went on an Amazon shopping binge." Melanie laughed. "Don't think I even had one during my vacation. God, who even the fuck knows."

Melanie got her letter opener and used it to cut the tape. Once opening it up, the girl let out a startling scream before covering her mouth.

"What the fuck?!" Sam blurted.

Inside the box was a torso that was cut in half with the internal organs coming out that was wrapped up in plastic. The sight of it made Melanie want to throw up. Sam, on the other hand, had a pretty good stomach. Emily hearing the scream from her office, she quickly came outside and saw the agents hovering around something.

"What's going on?" She questioned.

No one answered.

Emily walked downstairs and towards the crowd of people, making her way through the front. When she saw what everyone was staring at, her eyes went wide.

"Oh my god." She gasped. "What the hell is this?"

"Seems like someone's torso, boss." Sam answered.

"I see that, Montgomery, but what is it doing here?"

"It was shipped to me. I-I don't know why but it was addressed to me." Melanie responded.

Just like mostly everyone in the room, Emily was confused as to why someone would mail this to Melanie. And of course, who was sending it. Emily had made a quick call to the medical examiner to pick it up while she ordered everyone in the room to go back to work and for Melanie and Sam to meet her in the briefing room. Melanie had sat down in silence trying to erase the image of what she saw out of her head.

Melanie was snapped out of her thoughts when she felt a hand placed on her shoulder. She looked up and saw Luke with a concerned look on his face.

"Mel, you okay?" He questioned. "I've been trying to get your attention since I walked in. Em sent out a text to explain what happened."

"Yeah, no. I'm okay. I'm not scarred for life or anything. It's just a sight I definitely did not expect on seeing this early in the morning." She told him.

"I'm so glad you're all here. Let's get started shall we?" Emily addressed."This morning D.C. Metro police reported that body parts were sent to 6 separate locations within the Washington metropolitan area. Each appendage was wrapped and sealed inside its own box. In all, there were two arms with no hands, two legs with no feet, one torso cut in half but without the head - which is obviously the one Melanie got."
