"Why am I not taking my meds?" you asked the doctor.
It's been two days and she hasn't given you any at all, but vitamins. You don't mind it actually because you're feeling fine and even stronger. But you just needed answers because it's confusing you.
"I've been studying you test results and I don't think your current meds are still fit for you."
She's been like this since that day she came back from the other hospitals and health research institutes. You don't get why she seems too worried at all now that you're feeling so much better.
"Do I need a much lower dose?" you asked.
"I don't know how to tell you this, but I still need to research about your result before we conclude things. I don't think this is a good sign, it feels wrong..." the doctor said as she reads your results again and again.
"I don't understand... I'm feeling better, so much better, so why are you so worried?"
The truth is, you know what she's saying because you feel it too. This recovery felt too good to be true, it was all of a sudden. The pain before this was unbearable and then when you woke up, everything was gone, not leaving a single trace.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure to figure this out this week. And then we'll tell them." she smiled sadly.
You nodded and she left the room. You pondered on the things she said, and you kept denying that this is probably the calm before the storm. This was really odd and you know that it can't be too good but you kept ignoring it. You thought that maybe you're just like this because everything is foreign to you and it feels wrong because it's good.
You were distracted from your thoughts when you heard a knock from your window. You waited for the knock again before standing up. As you slowly peeked through the curtains, you saw a glimpse of black hair in the bushes. Slowly, the figure looked up at you and it was Ran, he was smiling.
"Ran, what are you doing there?" you asked as you opened the window.
"Izana didn't want us to visit until next week but it's getting boring there so we just had to." Ran said as he handed you a box of sweets.
You saw Rindou sneaking behind Ran.
"Come in, you'll get insect bites there." you said as you opened the sliding window wide enough for them to come in.
"No, we won't stay long because Izana ordered us to do something-" Ran stopped speaking when he saw his brother beside him.
"What? I can't just stay guard, I came to see her too!" Rindou sneered at Ran.
"What if we get caught, huh? Go back there!" Ran argued.
You giggled at them as you pat both of their heads, making them stop and glare at each other. The Haitanis never failed to make you smile and you're so happy seeing them again after days. Another guy caught your eyes, he was standing a few feet away from the Haitanis.
"Who's that?" you asked as you pointed to the guy with black hair.
"Who?" Ran and Rindou sang in chorus.
As they slowly turned to where you were pointing, their jaws dropped. It was Koko, he followed them here without them noticing. But Koko wasn't paying attention to the brothers anymore, he was staring at you. just like the others, he had no idea that their Queen would be in a hospital.
"Oh no, we messed up... We messed up... I told you to keep watch!" Ran scolded Rindou.
"Even if I keep on guard he'd still be able to follow us because you weren't discreet with your driving!" Rindou argued back.
Ran face palmed and let out a frustrated grunt while Rindou was muttering curses. Your eyes were now on Koko who's walking closer to the three of you, with his hands on his pockets.
"Koko please don't tell Izana, I swear I will... I will do your workload! Rindou and I will do it!" Ran pleaded as Rindou nodded in agreement to his brother.
Koko gave them the side eye making the brothers sigh in relief. Ran dramatically fanned himself while Rindou glared at his brother, still not forgiving him for blaming this on him.
"Hello, it seems like you're friends with Izana and Kaku too. I'm y/n and you are... Koko?" You smiled warmly at Koko as you held out your hands to shake his'.
But instead of shaking your hand, Koko kissed it as he bowed, making you blush.
"Our Queen." Koko greeted, smiling.
The Haitanis gave Koko the side eye with their eyebrows raised, as if they were so proud that they were friends with you first. They saw how Koko was in awe of you just by seeing you smile, they smirked at themselves thinking that Koko would've died if he sees you in a dress.
"Our Queen's the most beautiful, isn't she?" Ran boasted while Rindou held his hand out like he was presenting you.
"What are you saying?" You're now starting to get confused as to why everyone of Izana's friends are calling you Queen too.
"She's indeed the Queen of Tenjiku." Koko said as he did his signature tongue out.
Koko was clearly in awe of your beautiful face and your aura that was the complete opposite of Tenjiku and the King itself. He's picturing you in all the luxurious clothing brands and decided to immediately go shopping this week before he comes back with Izana.
Now that he saw you, he understood Izana's smile that night and his hunger for power. Everything that he's been doing was surely and no doubt for you, to give you everything in Japan. Well, Koko being the treasurer of Tenjiku, he can't wait to spoil you too with every expensive thing in all Japan.
"Tenjiku?" you asked. You've never heard of that before and now Koko's calling you the Queen of that.
Rindou's eyes widened as he looks at his brother. Koko smirked at his own mistake, he didn't realize it earlier that you probably don't have any idea about Izana's whereabouts. He turned to Ran and nodded to him to make an excuse. Ran clicked his tongue before smiling sweetly and innocently at you.
"Oh, that's Izana's company. It's a surprise for you and he'd tell you soon. So don't tell him that we already spoiled it, alright?" Ran improvised as he slowly walks backwards.
"Oh? Uh, okay." you answered as you slowly nod.
"And please don't tell him we visited." Rindou added so you nodded again.
The three of them bowed again as they bid goodbye. The Haitanis waved at you as they tried to drag Koko with them.
"I'll send gifts soon, our Queen." Koko said as he stuck his tongue out with excitement.
You smiled as you watched them walk away, the Haitanis still arguing like little kids while Koko tease them. You giggled at the thought of getting to spend your everydays with them and Izana and Kaku.
You looked at the box Ran gave you and you saw that he even doodle a smiley, heart, and a crown on it. Inside it was macarons. You ate it while writing on your journal.
