Now back to the chapter!

-------------------------------------------------

Ever since you woke up date day, Izana never left your side.

You've been unconscious for a month and during that time, Izana didn't leave the house, which means he's never been to Tenjiku's headquarters since. But during that time he did all that he can to make sure no one will ever go near you ever again.

He made sure to clean up the gang that attacked you during that day with all of his command and influence. Even the Haitani brothers didn't stop until they know everything's settled.

During the times you were unconscious, Izana would hold your hand and tell you the memories of you, him, and Kaku. He would retell everything, with a warm smile on his lips.

On days he couldn't talk because of his tears, he would write letters for you. He would write letters about his feelings and his dreams and how you were in every single one of them.

He signs each one them and plants a soft kiss on where he wrote your name beside his, before seeling it in an envelope.

He wasn't very fond of writing, and he thought he was bad at it. He thought about how messy his handwriting was and how it looked so funny in a fancy fragrant paper.

But he didn't mind any of these when he couldn't move his to talk.

All he thought about was you.

And how he wanted you to open these letters and read them on the day he gets down on his knees to propose to you.

"Dinner's ready in a few." Kaku said as he entered the room.

"mhm." Izana hummed as an answer.

"Good evening, Queen." Kaku smiled sadly as he gazed at you, placing his hand softly on your head.

Kaku prepared a table in your room so that Izana won't need to leave you. And even though you're unconscious, he would still prepare your meals like you usually would. He knew that if he didn't do that, Izana wouldn't eat.

Kaku arranged the table as he watched Izana writing non stop on your other side.

"She'd be too tired to read, y'know?" Kaku joked.

Izana didn't respond, he only kept writing. He didn't stop writing. But he smiled.

Your room was filled with flowers of every kind, the most beautiful and fragrant. On the tables, there were envelopes of letters that Izana wrote for you. Each of them containing his love for you.

It was a romantic view, your room. Except for the the fact that you were lying unconscious.

The two of them ate quietly. It was a silence that carried a very heavy burden to the heart of them both.
Kaku wanted to start a conversation but then stopped when he saw Izana's hands.
