(Narrator's POV)
While Night and Emerald were on their way, the rest of the team was busy fighting Cordovin and his giant robot. The group was hidden behind a wall of ice created by a Cordovin shot. They decided to split up: The team JNR went to the left of the robot, Maria and Oscar went with the ship, Qrow turned into a raven and went into the air, and the rest of the team KNRD went to the right. Cordovin didn't know where to look, her gaze was averted, allowing Ruby to leap into the air and shoot the glass of the control room, cracking it.
Cordovin fired a few missiles at Ruby, who dodged them with her semblance before dropping onto a layer of ice created by Weiss. The two girls jumped from ice sheet to ice sheet before Nora shot the robot's left arm with her grenade launcher.
"Is that a joke?" Resare complains.
"Surely you knew Atlas was the father of hard-light Dust? Or do lesser kingdoms simply lack a proper education?" Cordovin asks the group in a mocking tone before firing at the JNR team, who dodge the shots.
"Cordo just activated shields!" Jaune says to Oscar via the earpiece.
"I saw that! We need to find out whatever's generating it." The young man replied.
"You know, in video games, the weak spot's usually in the back of the giant boss." Ruby tells them.
"Except we're not in one of your bullshit games, Ruby!" Resare growls at her. Jaune saw a motorcycle come and stop right in front of him.
"Night! Emerald! Are you okay?" The blond asked them.
"Need some medic." Night replied by pointing to his right arm.
"What about Yang and Blake?" Nora asked him, concerned.
"Don't worry about them, they're fine!" Night replies as Jaune activates his aura to heal Night and Emerald before hearing Cordovin's voice.
"You are ants! You are lower than ants!" She yells without noticing that Qrow has landed on the robot's back to put a scythe hit on it
"Until the shield's down, we're gonna have to get up close and personal with this thing." Qrow said to the team before firing two repries at the robot before running away from Cordovin who tried to catch him.
"That's easier said than done!" Ren complains
"Weiss and I are on it!" Ruby tells them. Weiss created ice spikes, which hit the robot's leg, drawing Cordovin's attention to the two girls.
"Ruby! Move!" Oscar yells at her before Cordovin fires a few missiles at her. Weiss had time to summon a Lancer to dodge the attack. Ruby pounces on the robot and plants her scythe right above the control station. This destabilized the robot, which crashed into the cliff, making Cordovin scream.
"Go!" Jaune orders as he continued to heal Night and Emerald. Dragon, Resare and Ren climbed onto the robot's left arm while Krystal and Nora remained on the ground. Krystal stabbed her sword into the robot's body before firing it. The robot stood up, taking Krystal, Ren Dragon and Resare with it. Ruby started to fall and finally appeared right in front of Cordovin.
"Get off of me!" She orders him before trying to catch Ruby, who fled with her semblance before being caught in flight by Weiss and her Lancer.
"Hey! A little help!" Krystal called. She was clutching her saber still stuck in the robot's carcass. She could drop her sword and fall into the water at any moment! Night saw this and approached the edge of the cliff.
