The Wedding

Today is Madi and Taylor's wedding. There's so many different people flying in from so many different places. Some of Madi's high school friends from Alabama, some of Taylor's from Indiana. Taylor's family members from Indiana and Texas. All the boys were coming. Nash, Cameron, Carter, Shawn, Matthew, the Jacks, Jacob, and Hayes, Sammy, and Nate. Bart planned on coming. Aaron and his mom Becky, his stepdad Jeff, sister Candice, and brother Dustyn were coming, all from Louisiana.

There's approximately 2 hours until the wedding. We had everything planned out. Mahogany was here at the venue with me, helping set things up. The tables were set. The flowers were put out. The chairs were lined up. The altar was decorated. The cake was coming in about 15 minutes. Lights were good. Music was good. Everything was going great, and nothing could be better. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were getting dressed. Madi was upstairs getting ready, as well as Taylor. People were starting to arrive. I was greeting people left and right, showing them places to sit. The right side was for Taylor's family and friends, and the left side was for Madi's family and friends.

In the middle of me doing this, Mahogany came up to me and called my name.

"Kenna," she said, "I think you should go get dressed. Things are good. The cake just arrived. I think I've got it."

She was dressed up. I had to go put on a certain dress because I was the Maid of Honor, and so I did that. I walked upstairs into the same room Madi was in. She was with the other bridesmaids, who were all dressed and ready. They were doing her hair and makeup. She looked beautiful, so far.

"I need to get dressed," I announced.

"Yeah," she said, "you should probably do that. Annabelle, can you get her dress off the rack?"

Annabelle handed me the dress bag. I went into the nearby changing room and pulled out the powder blue strapless satin dress and put it on. Then, I slipped on the white heels that went with it. I did my own hair and makeup in the dressing room. Walking out, the girls admired with gasps and aws.

"You look gorgeous!" one of the shouted. I believe her name is Elizabeth.

"Thank you," I smiled.

I couldn't find Madi anywhere.

"Where's Madi?" I asked.

Just then, my ginger bestfriend of many many years came walked the door. She was wearing her wedding dress that started at the top with crystals and slowly faded to just white, her white heels with a bow, and her hair up in a bun. Her makeup was done perfectly and she looked absolutely beautiful. I was almost in tears.

"Madi," I said, going to hug her.

She hugged me back tightly. Once she released she stuck a finger under her right eye, "Im trying not to cry."

"Don't," I said, trying not to cry, as well. "You look gorgeous."

"As do you," she smiled.

"I can't believe this is happening," I said.

"I can't believe I'm about to marry Taylor Caniff."

"I can't believe your name won't be Maddison Miller anymore."

"Stop," she said, "it's just crazy."

"It's exciting," I said.

"Very," she said back.

Just then, Mahogany popped in.

"15 minutes," she smiled and popped out.

"Oh my God. 15 minutes," Madi started panicking.
