After the event, we went back up to our rooms. As I sat in the desk chair, Aaron sat on the bed by me.

"Are you still up to go on that date with me?" he smiled.

"Always," I smiled.

"Well, if you want to change into something comfortable, cause I know you're probably sweaty in those clothes, then I will, too, and we can go."

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Out," he smirked.

I groaned, and then smiled, "Okay."

I got up and went to my suitcase. I pulled out a pair of light shorts, grey TOMS, and a maroon, cropped sweatshirt with the words "Goodbye Hello" written in gold. I threw that on and then twisted some of my hair and pinned it on top of the curls on my shoulders. I put on some more makeup and went back into the bedroom part of the hotel. Aaron was wearing a white "DGK" shirt with color patterned sleeves and pocket. His dark-brown-almost-black hair was brushed up into a quiff, and he had two gold necklaces on.

"Hot," I said, looking at him.

"You, too," he said, looking me up and down.

I laughed.

"Ready?" he asked.

I nodded my head, grabbing my phone. We walked out the door and into the elevator.

-----

Aaron ended up taking me to get Wendy's, cause we were both starving, and then we walked to this secluded part of town. It was very green, and it was like a park. We were walking down the path, side by side, and he kept inching closer than me. He reached for my hand, slowly, waiting for my response. I grabbed his hand and intertwined it with mine.

"This was fun," I said.

"Really?" he asked.

"Yeah, I like being around you."

"I like being around you, too."

We both smiled at each other, still walking. I was looking at my feet, kicking the small pebbles I saw on the ground.

"Anything you want to do now?" he looked at me.

I checked my phone for the time. It was 9:00pm.

"I'm not sure. It's pretty late," I said.

"It's 9:00pm. Late for me is like, 7:00am," he scoffed, causing me to chuckle.

"Okay, night owl."

He kept turning and looking at me.

"What?" I asked him.

"Nothing," he smiled.

"Then why do you keep looking at me?"

"You're beautiful, and I enjoy looking at beautiful things."

I was blushing, hard, and I could tell.

"Stop," I smiled.

"Why? You deserve to be told you're beautiful if you are. Even if you aren't, you deserve to be told that."

"Well, I'm not," I said.

"Kenna, seriously?" he said, stopping.

"Seriously," I replied.

"You are probably the most beautiful girl I've met, in a long long time. I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful you really are, because words can't describe."

My face was heating and heart was fluttering. I definitely, full on had feelings for Aaron.

"I just don't see it," I said.

"How can I show you that you are genuinely gorgeous?"

"You can't."

"Why not?"

"Cause I just don't believe it."

"Then I am going to tell you, every single day, for the rest of your life. Eventually, you'll have to believe me," he turned his nose up playfully.

I laughed.

He stopped in front of me and looked me dead in the eyes.

"You really are beautiful, and you don't need me to tell you that, because you should already know," he started. "A girl like you deserves to be told every second of the day how much she means to someone."

"So tell me," I said.

"I can't."

"Why not?"

"Because the English language doesn't have good enough words to describe my feelings for you."

I was now standing in front of Aaron, looking up at him. He was a lot taller than me.

"That's probably the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me," I was tearing up.

He wiped a tear from my eye with his thumb, leaving his hand on my face.

"It's true," he almost whispered. "You want to know something that I can tell you?"

"What?"

"My feelings for you are true. I know that there is something about you that just draws me towards you. The more I talk to you, I just want to keep talking to you for hours upon hours upon hours, and I know I would never get bored, and there would never be a dull moment."

"That would be perfect," I said.

"Then we should try it out sometime."

"Definitely."

"There's something else I want to try out, right now."

"What's that?"

"I can't do it," he said, "I'm nervous to see the reaction."

"Maybe it's a good one," I said.

"You think so?"

"You'll never know, if you never try."

He smiled, and then leaned in to kiss me. I closed my eyes and connected my lips to his, moving in sync with him. We stood like this for a solid minute or two before backing away.

"See? Positive reaction."

"Guess I should try things more often."

We both smiled before walking back to the hotel.

Today...

Was perfect.
