"How did you even get in my house?" Madi asked.

"It wasn't hard," he smirked.

I hated him with the strongest passion possible. Just looking at him in the house disgusts me. The way his blonde hair flowed the the left side of his face, and the way his blue eyes darkened every time he spoke to Madi.

"Okay, well you can't just come in here. It's called breaking and entering, and I'm pretty sure that shit's illegal," she said.

He looked over at me. Madi was being all nice and sugar coating the situation, but if it were me in her place, I'd beat the hell out of him on sight.

"How've you been, Kenna?" he asked.

"Fuck you," I replied simply.

Madi gave me the worst look, like she was ready to kill me. He smirked.

"You don't like me?" he grinned.

"Never have," I moved around on my chair, "never will."

I was on the computer downstairs, editing my video for Monday. I went over the house to make sure he hadn't taken anything.

"How long have you been in my house, Mason?" she asked.

"I know what time you get off work, so I came here to wait on you. I just wanted to talk."

"Okay, wait," I stepped in, "why do you know what time she gets off?"

"I pay attention," he looked at me.

"How? You did say earlier you've been in California, practicing medicine or whatever."

"Yes, but I've been in Alabama for a little while now," he was trying to wriggle his way around the real answer.

"So you couldn't stop by Starbucks? You just had to come in our apartment?" I questioned him.

I could see his frustration. Mason always got frustrated easily.

"I wanted to talk to her alone, actually," he hinted for me to leave.

"I'll leave you alone, but if you think I'm leaving the room, you've got another thing coming. That's not happening," I said, turning back around.

I put my headphones on my head and began watching my now edited video. Everything was going great. I turned the volume down to hear their conversation.

"I messed up," Mason said, "I shouldn't have done the things I did to you."

"That's why you're here?" she scoffed.

"Yes. Maddison-"

"Madi," she corrected him.

"Madi," he said, "I'm still in love with you."

"I can't help it," she replied.

"I want to start over."

"I can't help that either."

"I want to be with you. I want to grow old with you, and get married, and have kids, and just everything. I wanna do it all with you," he said.

"I can't help you with any of that," she was getting upset now. She was angry, and you could hear it in her voice.

"Then what can you help?"

"Your ass out the door," I stood up.

"Didn't I say I wanted to talk to her alone?"

"Didn't I say I didn't care?"

"This is adult business. Children can stay out of it."

"Alright," I said, "and when you grow the fuck up and act like an adult, come back and talk to her."

"You need to leave," Madi told Mason.

"Why? Don't you love me?" he asked.

"She loves me," Taylor was standing in the front door.

No one even noticed him come in, or open the door. We were all too engulfed in this idea of Mason and I fighting and getting him out of the house, we wouldn't have noticed if the whole damn thing was set to flames!

"Who are you?" Mason asked.

Madi had already jumped up and ran to him. Taylor let her down and held an arm around her waist.

"Taylor," he said, "but I can also be your worst nightmare if you're giving either of these girls a hard time."

"You don't even know me," Mason protested.

"And I don't really want to," Taylor clapped his hands together, "but I do want you to get out of my girlfriend's house."

"Whose gonna make me?" Mason asked.

"We can," Cameron, Nash, and Aaron all came through the door behind Taylor.

I saw Aaron and immediately ran up to him. I took him back outside the front door.

I mean, let's be honest. Aaron would probably beat himself up if he got into fight. I wanted to get him out of there, and I just wanted to see him.

Once we were back outside the front door, I kissed him, hard. He kissed me back, and then pulled away.

"Who is that?" he asked.

"Madi's stalker ex-boyfriend," I replied.

"You don't like him?" he asked.

"You couldn't tell?" I smirked.

He smiled, and then kissed me again. We both pulled away the minute we heard screaming. Turning around, I see Taylor and Cameron throwing Mason out the door and into the yard. I couldn't see where Nash was, probably inside, but Taylor looked pissed. He had a bit of blood in the corner of his mouth, but nothing other than that. Cameron looked fine, a few scratches. Mason, on the other hand, got the brakes beaten off his ass. His face was bloody, as well as his shirt. I don't know what his means of transportation were getting here, and I didn't care what they were back to wherever he was going to, but he wasn't in shape to drive, and none of us were driving him. He got up and began walking the sidewalk downtown.

"Let's go inside," Aaron said, taking my hand.

I agreed and we went in.
