Pretty Brown Eyes

Chapter 7

Magcon day one. It was finally here. I opened my eyes to a sleeping Aaron. I could honestly get used to this sight. He was just, so cute, sleeping or awake. I decided to stay like this for a few more minutes, or at least until my alarm went off. I just kind of, admired Aaron for a second, and let me tell you.. The more I looked at him, the more I wanted to be with him. After about 3 minutes, the alarm went off, and I quickly shut my eyes, pretending to be asleep. A few seconds after, I felt Aaron moving around.

"Guys," he said aloud in a raspy voice, "it's Magcon day. We gotta get up."

I groaned and got up, pretending again, that I was asleep. Madi and Taylor got up and rubbed their eyes.

We all were up, dressed, and ready to go within an hour. The doors opened in about 2 hours, so we had some time to go over the events of today. I was wearing a grey shirt, with the ends of it tied, a red floral textured skirt that had a black spandex belt around the top, and black Vans. Madi was wearing a white, long sleeved crop top, a blue galaxy skirt, and black wedges. Taylor was wearing Aaron's merch, and Aaron was wearing Taylor's. We all were ready and went down to the ballroom. There were people lining up outside the hotel doors already, however they had to stay locked, for safety reasons. There was another entrance where the hotel stayers could come through. Once we were down in the ballroom for the event, we set up our booths, then we all had to go to this room in the back, so we could come out when they introduced us.

Magcon was starting. We were all in the back room, waiting for our name to be called. Once it was called, we had to run out along the sides of the crowd and say hello very quickly and run on stage. The music started playing, so we knew we were getting ready to be called.

"Welcome to the Dallas, Texas meet and greet convention! My name is Bart Bordelon and you're at the very first Magcon event! Now, we'd like to introduce our headlining entertainers. Are you guys ready?" we heard Bart through the microphone.

We were all jogging in place kind of.

"EVERYONE PUT YOUR HANDS IN A CIRCLE!" Cam yelled.

We all did as Cam said, putting our hands on top of each other's in a circle.

"On 10 we all are gonna scream MAGCON! Ready?"

"Ready!" we shouted.

Cam counted to 10 very fast and then we all screamed "MAGCON", throwing our hands in the air. We had a big group hug and then separated.

"LET'S DO THIS!" Nash shouted.

"And here he is, Cameron Dallas!" Bart shouted.

Cameron ran out of the room.

"I'm sure you all know his best friend, Nash Grier!"

Nash ran out.

"And of course the very talented, Shawn Mendes!"

Shawn ran out.

"We have two special guests we'd like to introduce now. The YouTubers from the collab. channel 'Our2ndLife' here is Jc Caylen and Sam Pottorff!"

Sam and Jc ran out of the room together, Sam on Jc's back. He called out Carter, Matt, and the Jacks.

"Now, we have one of the two newest additions to the tour. Please give a warm welcome to Kenna Williams of the YouTube channel 'GurlTube!'"

I hugged Madi and then ran out. I saw the, what seemed like thousands, of girls in the area. They looked so excited to be at this event. I heard some of them screaming my name and screaming 'I love you.' I kept blowing kisses and running to the stage. I finally reached the gray steps and walked up. Bart called the rest of the group and we all stood on stage. Matt gave me a microphone and mouthed, "Talk."

I grabbed the microphone and held it to my mouth, "Welcome to Magcon Dallas 2013!"

The crowd went wild. They were all screaming, and some of them were even crying.

"My name is Kenna and I am so excited to be touring Magcon this year! It's going to be a fun, wild, and crazy ride for not only us, but for our ridiculously supportive fans. That's you guys!"

I gave the mic to Madi.

"Kenna and I," she started, "are so blessed to be touring with these wonderful people! It's great to see all of your beautiful faces."

She handed it off to Taylor.

"Now for all the parents, you're probably wondering why your kids would want to come see some ridiculous kids like us, who are just big on social media," Taylor said, handing the microphone to Aaron.

"And you're right, why would they? We are just a couple of kids with phones! This experience is going to be amazing. We, all of us, know that we mean almost everything to your kids, and it's a great thing that you brought them to this event. We love seeing them."

"Alright," Aaron handed the mic to Matt, "let's get WEIRD!" Matt yelled.

The crowd, again, went crazy.

It was time for the meet and greet. I was set up at a table with Aaron. Some girls came to me, some didn't. Same with all the other guys, and Madi. This one girl in particular came up to me, and she made me smile.

"H-hi," she said.

It was a small, brunette girl. She had beautiful blue eyes. She didn't look much younger than me.

"Hey, sweetie!" I hugged her. "What's your name?"

"A-annalee," she stuttered. She started tearing up.

"That's a beautiful name, Annalee. Fits such a beautiful girl. Why are you crying, sweetheart?" I asked.

"I just love you so much."

I smiled, because that made my day.

"Aw," I hugged her again, "I love you so much, too."

"Can we take a picture? I'm going to want to remember this."

"Of course," I said.

I held onto her hand and kissed her cheek while her friend took a picture.

"How old are you?" I asked.

"14."

"Wow," I said, "you're only a year younger than me, and I mean that much to you?"

"You mean absolutely everything to me. I watch your videos, I follow you on Twitter, Vine, Instagram, Tumblr, and YouTube. You're my everything," she said.

I was tearing up.

"Do I follow you on any of those?"

"No."

"Well," I pulled out my phone and opened my notes, "do you mind giving me your username? So I can follow you?"

Her eyes light up like a Christmas tree.

"Yes! Yes, of course!" she said, excitedly.

She gave me her usernames for all her social media. I wrote it down and promised her I would follow her after the event.

"It was great meeting you, beautiful. Just remember that I love you so much, okay?"

"Okay. I love you so much more," she hugged me one last time before walking away to see Madi.
