Planning a wedding is a lot harder than it seems, and sounds. There's so much to do. The cake, the venue, the flowers, the dress, the invite list, the decorations, the rings, the vows, the makeup, and so on. Not to mention, it costs more money than the average person makes in a single year, if not five or even ten. Madi and Taylor decided they would get married on December 10th of this year, and it's currently July. Madi and I are currently sitting at the dining room table trying to figure out the big details of her wedding.
"We need to go dress shopping sometime between now and November. You need to get fitted and everything," I said.
"Yeah, and I still need to talk to Taylor about what kind of cake he wants and just all those small details," she agreed.
"I'm never getting married," I sighed, laughing.
She chuckled, "Yes, you are, and i'm pretty sure I already know who you're marrying."
She was hinting at Aaron. My heart raced and I could feel my face reddening.
"I hope so," I said honestly.
And I really did. I wanted to marry Aaron, and I wanted to start a life with him, when we were of age, of course. It just seemed.. Impossible. If someone were to tell me that I would be sitting in a Los Angeles house with my best friend, planning her wedding, 5 years ago today, I would probably call the police. Everything just seems so surreal, and it feels like everything has happened so fast. Either way, I'm grateful for the life I'm living, and for all the people involved with it.
"Okay," she said, "what do you want to do today?"
"Sit home, honestly," I chuckled.
She laughed, "We could have a girls day? Go to the mall, get some lunch, then come home and order Chinese and watch Netflix."
"That sounds perfect," I said.
"I think Taylor is filming with Cameron and the Jacks today and tomorrow, anyways," she smiled.
"Okay. Then we need to go get ready."
"Let's go!"
We both shot up and went to our rooms. I walked in my messy room and went to the closet. I picked out this cute, black ruffled top and a pair of light wash denim skinny jeans. I threw that on and went picked out a pair of black ankle heel boots that I had worn to a past Magcon event. Once I had that on, I went to the bathroom and did my hair. I took Madi's curling wand and made several waves. Then I put on liquid eyeliner, fake eyelashes, and dark maroon lipstick. To top of the outfit, I put on a pair of gold rose earrings and a layered disk and feather necklace. Soon, Madi met me in the bathroom. She was wearing a maroon "Property of California" cropped boyfriend shirt, black double-zipped skinny jeans, dye-dipped black ankle boot heals. Her ginger hair was in a braid. I left and gave her some room to get ready.
About 15 minutes later, Madi came out and grabbed her keys.
"Alright," she checked the mirror again, "you ready?"
"Yep," I said, checking the mirror myself.
We left.

At the mall, we walked around for 20 minutes before finding a store we wanted to go in. A couple fans had noticed us, and we stopped to take pictures. One of Madi's favorite stores is Pacsun, so we had to go in there. She immediately found a shirt she liked, and she held it up to me.
"Do you think this is cute?" she asked.
"It's adorable," I said honestly.
She checked the price tag, "It's not $40 adorable."
