Chapter 13: Just One Call Away

"Huh...?" Where were you? It seemed that the sky had a pale tone to it, making it much more depressing, in a way. It felt as if it was sucking the joyful mood you had earlier, which you weren't sure why you had it in the first place.

A bit of fog was surrounding you, only adding to the depressing mood.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" you loudly asked, but only the echo responded, making you feel much more lonelier than ever before.

Out of the blue, you heard some footsteps coming towards you, many footsteps. It was like if all of the footsteps were walking at once, like if they were all in sync with each other.

You turned around and as soon as you did so, you regretted it deeply.

Those men were back again, but... something seemed very off about them, they seemed much more vulnerable this time.

Holding black umbrellas, they stared at this building, with their expressions hanging low.

You wondered what could've possibly happened for them to act this way. In no way, shape, or form did you ever think you'd actually care about these murderers.

But, curiosity was driving you in for more information.

"Hello?" you called out once more. They actually heard your voice, turning around to look at you, a genuine looking smile on all of their faces. You were a bit shocked by that. They weren't going to jump on you or immediately drink your blood? Suspicious, very suspicious.

You walked passed them with ease, looking to see what they were staring at.

"W-What...?" You looked back towards them, this couldn't possibly be it.

No, this couldn't be, this couldn't possibly be the end of it all.

"For how long did you believe you'd survive next to us?" one of them whispered into your ear.

"Everything must come to an end, for everything must reborn again." As soon as you heard that sentence escape from the vampire's lips, they disappeared from you, everything around you had disappeared into thin air, into nothingness.

Nothing but your grave was left.

"Wake up, wake up." you heard a faint voice say.

Little by little you heard that voice get louder and louder, the booming voice now demanding you to get up.

You opened your eyes and there, was a random stranger right in front of you.

Specifically the police man whom which saved you and Felix, thanks to him, you two could escape from such desperate situation you had put yourselves in.
