"It had been fate which led us to meet again."
"𝘈𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯?"
Love and hate have always had a sort of line that most would never cross. You'd always stood at the opposite side when it came to Sunghoon and his blood-thirsty friends.

You quickly turned around, now facing a strange boy who wore a bloody uniform, parts of the outfit being ripped apart for some unknown reason. He pushed you against a tree, trapping you between his arms.
"Remember me?" the boy asked, as you violently shook your head. You had never once seen such boy in your life, but that only made him smirk harder.
"I'm not your surprised, your spells are strong enough to make a person's memory fade away...but your stupidity in underestimating us is pitiful."
"What?? What the hell do you mean by spells? What the hell are you on about?"
"You seriously don't remember...? Come on sweetheart, don't act all foolish with me! You have to remember something!"
"Your spells can't be that powerful, considering the disaster you've just caused..." he then trailed off, mumbling about some other stuff while just leaving you there behind.
"WAIT!! WHAT DISASTER?!" you followed alongside him, wanting to know more about what exactly he was talking about.
If this was about your past life...then it surely sounded like you didn't do a whole lot of good back then-
"Hey EJ! Guess who I found!!" he called over to the woods, as you stood there in absolute confusion, wondering what "EJ" was he calling over the forest.
And load and behold...a tall figure appeared beneath the shadows, slowly walking towards the both of you.
"K, what is it now?" the other boy named Ej asked, as he dragged himself towards K, not even sharing a glance towards you.
"I found...I found...I FOUND SEL-" EJ immediately turned to look at you, eyes wide open, like if he was an owl who had just found it's next meal. He covered K's mouth immediately, still looking at you with such odd expression, it almost made you laugh by how shocked he was.
"What are you doing here? Someone like you shouldn't be here."
"I ran away."
"Ran away from what?"
"From the vampires...I had no choice." your breath was getting quite short from all of the running you had done. It was starting to get harder to understand what exactly you were saying.
You were starting to notice the smiles on their faces kept getting bigger and bigger, as they both looked at each other, knowing that something that you didn't.
"Why would you ever run away from your mistakes? You're only going to go face the other mistakes you forgot the kill off..." their bodies started to twitch a bit, looking at you the same way Sunghoon had looked at you not so long ago.
With eyes that held nothing behind them.
"Look, I don't know what I did before...but if my past self did something terrible, then I'm sorry, but it doesn't mean that the same person I was before is the same person I am now."
"People change!!"
"But monsters don't." EJ finished your sentence, making you feel kind of offended yet kind of scared...as what kind of person were you back then?! In that moment, you'd like to think that you had done nothing wrong and that these boys were just exaggerating...
But you know, deep down inside, that they must be right; It would make complete sense, as it would explain why the vampires hated you so much from the beginning, but it wouldn't explain why Ni-ki would act the way he did around you.
If you had truly done something so terrible...would Ni-ki still be able to forgive it?
"The vampires might be fooled by your charms, but we won't ever bow down to your reign. They can only see what you forced them to see."
"A vulnerable peasant who once ruled the nations, of your imagination."
"You forced them to see the victim that you'll never be, as you betrayed us, Y/N, you sacrificed a part of you just to make things right."
"But you underestimated yourself, ourselves...you should've known how much life you can create from just one touch." their bodies continued to spasm, as their clothes got more ripped, revealing their true identities.
