"It had been fate which led us to meet again."
"𝘈𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯?"
Love and hate have always had a sort of line that most would never cross. You'd always stood at the opposite side when it came to Sunghoon and his blood-thirsty friends.

You slowly pulled out the small crucifix that had been inside of your pocket the entire time there. Although you didn't really plan to use it and just brought it to make you feel less nervous, something in you told you to use it, thinking it was a sign, you decided to use it.
His smirk only grew bigger and bigger as you held it right in front of his face. Mark, Dami and Felix looked at you with faces of confusion, as you gave the same face back to them. You really weren't sure why you were doing that.
"They've used this too many times on me now, I'm getting sick of it." he looked at you dead in the eye and scoffed the moment that he looked at your serious and scared eyes.
That was when you lost it and started to hit him with the crucifix as hard as you could, catching him completely off guard, making you have enough time to book it out of there
"Be gone sin!! Be gone Devil!!" you screamed as you ran away as fast as you could, your little legs sprinting towards your the safety of your teammates' embrace.
You know...who would've known a crucifix could be used for multiple purposes?!
The vampire started straight towards you, laughing at the funny tactic you had used to escape his embrace, as it had been done a million times before. All humans tried to do is find anything to hide against with, not really wanting to face anything, or that's how at least he felt about them.
The faces of the three blood-suckers were indescribable with words, with their faces showing a world and plan that you could just not understand, but one thing was clear to you, they were telling you that they had already won and you could just not understand how or why they had won.
It made no sense, it shouldn't have made any sense to you.
As the police officers slowly took them back towards the police station, with hundreds of news stations sharing and asking questions to you and your teammates, with Felix's dad answering and responding to every single one of them.
For him and for the rest of the world, it felt as if it truly was the end of it all. The law had won once again and you and your teammates were being treated like the generation's new and established heroes, the ones that had saved the human population from fully deceasing.
Yet why did it feel like otherwise? Like instead of solving and fixing the problem, you only kept encaged and you just couldn't accept that.
You needed to eradicate it, you needed to kill it with no traces left. Such feeling would just not leave you alone, in fact, it only just started to grow from the inside of you.
If you had to describe and compare this feeling, you'd compare it to the feeling you had when talking to Hongjoong...it just didn't feel like enough anymore, you needed to taste that vengeful blood again.
The feeling to murder and the temptation to hear the screams started to ache from the inside of your body, it was like an endless addiction, to eliminate every single thing that had wronged you and what you truly cared for the most.
The part of the innocent human population, the people who deserved to thrive and live, the ones that were in danger from the unforgiving and the hatred. You wanted to preserve the ones who didn't know any better, just like Siyeon and the rest of the girls who died not knowing any better, not knowing about the dangers of the unnatural.
A sudden news reporter shoved a microphone towards your face, catching you completely off guard, asking you a question that you could just not understand nor even care for. You decided to lean more to Dami, as if you were trying to find a sort of haven in her.
She immediately glared towards the news reporter, dragging you closer to her as she pulled towards a half-side hug, walking away from everything that stood behind you two, from the police, the news reporters and even the vampires themselves, only looking straight towards the car.
Once the four of you got settled inside of the car, it slowly drove off against the endless night, as you four let out a huge sigh of relief.
Although you knew that this was only the start of this endless journey of finding out these monsters real goals and their individual backstories, you couldn't help but feel victorious in the sense of being able to achieve something, the others far behind you could not surpass.
